I was really hoping to be able to watch this somewhere in San Diego next Friday and it looks like Houston will be lucky to make it to a game 6.

So who poked Harden? Was it draymond

So this the second time he has **** up a persons eye?

That would make it a common occurrence
Stop being so disrespectful.

Injuries are looking to derail this series. I hope they all recover before game 3.

You're going to get it mostly from Houston. They think its the only way they can win.

To win the Rockets need Harden, Gordon, and Capela to all have great games with Paul giving his typical 15-20pts with good defense and playmaking in order to win. They also need to allow only two of KD, Curry, Green, and Iguodala to have typical big games

It's a hell of a tough thing to do, and now they need it to happen 4 of the next 5 games. Anything is possible, especially as they can certainly win two in a row at home here, but the odds are really not in their favor.

Harden playing well beneath his regular season stats when things get tough in the playoffs is nothing new, and as he goes so do the Rockets. I think he'll have one ridiculous game in the next three to help HOU win, but he'll revert to his 9-28fg self otherwise.

Poor Harden couldn’t even see where the refs were to complain to for most of the night.

Rumor around the league after game 2:
Daryl Morey furiously typing an email about how lights in Oracle are "brighter than average" and costing Rockets 1.8 points per lumen.

Game 2 was all on Houston, didn't rebound and turned the ball over way too much. I'm not even mad about the Draymond eye rake, freak things like that happen in a game. Same with Curry injuring his fingers. If both games went like game 2 did, I'd simply tip my hat to Golden State and give them their due. Unfortunately game 1 was still stolen, so I still want Houston to exact their pound of flesh before this series is over. Win or lose, we owe the Warriors a receipt for that garbage.

I never understand how Rockets play. They cut the lead to 3 and you would hope they would play something conservative to get higher percentage shot but instead they go and gamble three possession in the row... and lead balloon to 8-10...

Everyone's patience is going to run out at one point. The intensity of this thread is historical high, it requires both camps to post with class and fact the rest of the series or it's just going to be endless piss fight on clashes of hatred. If you don't have anything meaningful to post, at least don't troll.

For one more time, Harden played a clean game the whole night. Scored 13 points in 4th, 5/7 shooting, picked up KD as the primary defender with a blurry vision while single handedly pulled Houston within 3. The guy fought like a soldier on the court and you choose to post like a coward here doing this kind of dirty ass and+1 fishing.

Just to be clear, moving forward my only reply towards trolling like this would be GTFO.

No Paul no Gordon. KD stepped out of bound. They didn't bitch. Came back and drilled a 3 on the DPOY.

No Harden, Paul played a masterpiece game, they won.

You are quickly becoming the next "GTFO worthy" poster.

Very anti-climactic series unfortunately. The best hope now is that Houston is able to take 2 games essentially, because there's no way a team is winning 4 out of 5 games against the most talented team of all time. And you know Golden State will most likely take at least 1 in Houston so this thing will probably be over in 5. Even if it ends that quickly, it's clear to me that the Rockets are both talented enough and effective enough in their strategies to win a title against any other team. The Clippers might've gone 6 against them, but Houston would probably beat LA in 5 or 6. The issue is that GS in my opinion is just a bad matchup for what they do. Green and Durant are basically GS's bigs and they're mobile and long enough to cover the baseline from the rim roller to the guys Houston has in the corners, depending on what the playmaker decides to do. And then the Warriors have multiple guys - Iggy, KD, Klay for starters - who can really make penetration difficult for Harden and CP3, which is key for what they do. And then Houston's defensive strategy involves conceding inefficient midrange shots, but the issue is that Golden State is an all-time outlier at knocking those down. Even when contested, KD, Curry, and to a lesser degree Klay almost never seem to miss them unless they're really pushed out of their comfort zone.

His comment was both funny and pretty clever. Comparing him to a soldier because he played after being poked in the eye seems pretty disrespectful to those who are actually putting their lives on the line

ehh i mean warriors are supposed to defend home court anyways , Rockets have kept both games within 2 or 3 posessions for the most part . Game 3 obv is huge but i wouldnt be shocked if warriors get spanked . Splash bro's travel well but KD/Draymond are hit or miss

So playing Basketball after an eye poke is equivalent to having people shooting at you trying to kill you..... Seems pretty similar to me. I was definitely concerned for his life!! The amount of eye poke deaths is quite serious
