Who is the best offensive isolation player in the league today?

KD. If we're talking 1-on-1 I might take Kawhi but his playmaking ability is so-so at best. KD is better at finding the open man when teams bring doubles.

KD or Harden.

Durant could just shoot over everybody

1 on 1 player or ISO player?

Iso is probably Harden I guess, he's a much better passer than either KD or Kawhi. LeBron is probably up there too, guys who are elite playmakers and also able to shoot and force switches. Kawhi and KD are obviously great scorers in isolation but their shortcomings as passers and overall offense initiators hut them here.

1 on 1 is probably Kawhi, best combination of defense and offense. Passing ability obviously doesn't matter here so that nullifies a bit of KDs advantage. Kawhi's size give him a better shot against smaller players too which would give KD trouble.

Definitely Durant. His height is unfair.

The guy who averaged 36 ppg mostly iso’ing w/ no other teammate over 16 ppg has got to be the best iso player. Especially since his team won 53 games.

with no help defense i will go with Durant

Agreed. I don't see how this is anyone but Harden.

you don't think KD can average 36 ISOing every possession?

It's KD. This really shouldn't even be a question. He's the most unstoppable 1-on-1 player in the league because of his length, height, and ability to handle the ball.

I hate Harden but everyone guards him with fear. They all are scared

Harden constantly looks defendable. Especially in the playoffs. KD at no point in time has ever looked gaurdable. He's a walking basket. Also, why isn't Kyrie an option?

Harden has had trouble when hes forced right and has his stepback taken away.

There are only 8 players with points per possession over 1.0 (min 50 games, 2 possessions a game)

Harden, Middleton, Durant, Dinwiddie, Kawhi, Kemba, DeRozen and Brandon Ingram.

Harden and its not close.
