Knicks big 3 vs GS big 3

Post#1 » by Shock Defeat » Fri May 17, 2019 6:03 pm

Is it just me or would the potential Knicks big 3 be way better than the warriors?

KD > Curry
Kyrie > KLay
AD > Dray

Knicks could be championship favorites next year. Just add a bunch of ring chasing vets.

Individually, you are right. But the Warriors fit together way too well.

Also, Warriors currently have their 3 (maybe 4 if they keep KD). NY's big 3 don't exist yet.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Who’s on the rest of the roster with KD, AD, and KI? Is there any cap left?

And assuming all goes perfectly, we don't have a Draymond Green. I still think we'd absolutely be in the conversation, but that's a big piece to be missing.

Just to clarify since apparently you couldn't glean this off my post:

Big 4 > Big 3

I do think our 3 would be better, but the 4th makes a big difference.

Yall thought you were going to have Zion earlier this week too. Pump the brakes.

Even if we (Knicks) got all these players, GS would still be far and away the favorites. Chemistry, coaching, experience playing together and cohesion all matter a lot more than these simplistic greater than less than comparisons.

I'm going to roll on the floor when the Nets sign both Kyrie and Durant.

Honestly the reading comprehension is astounding. IF ALL GOES PERFECTLY.

I didn't ask the question, someone else did. I answered it and still wasn't that Knicks fan who has to say everything is gonna go perfect and everyone wants to come here. I pointed out we'd still be missing a huge piece IF ALL GOES PERFECTLY. But you keep letting that Nets inferiority complex cloud your mind.

Warriors have to be likely to keep Cousins if KD leaves, right?

My mistake. I was thinking he was comparing to this year's big 3. Guess my reading comprehension is the problem now. Apologies. Work makes me snarky.

Only if Cousins wants to make like 6.3 million next season.

According to Knicks fans, Kawhi and Lebron (after they trade for him).

And why anyone would be salivating at the prospects of giving Kyrie a max deal as a cornerstone franchise player after what they just witnessed in Boston is beyond me.
