Congrats to Portland for a fine season. Bringing back that backcourt plus Nurk, and then getting development that I fully expect from Collins and Leonard... I expect another deep run for Blazers next season, and no one will sweep them.

I said to the Rockets fans who were happy that the Clippers series went 6 that it was a bad thing for the Rockets, because the Warriors were sleep walking and the Clippers woke them up. It appears they have not gone back to sleep.

Idk falling down 15+ points 3 straight games seems like a bit of sleep walking. Don’t think they had any fear this series either they flipped the switch when they needed to and beat them for three comebacks

Lilliard being hurt ,CJ playing below then average, Despite all that, the blazers outplayed the Warriors like 3 games in a row but they just CHOKED massively toward the end every game allowing Golden State to hang around . If they had a healthy Lillard and the Blazers of the previous rounds , that would not have happened. Score might be tied 2-2 or Blazwrs up 3-1.
Blazers is one of the worst WCF teams ever. Name a worse team that made the WCF in the last 15 years .
You say ever, then give a 15 year spectrum.

Choose one dude, because if we're talking nba history Magic Johnson can tell you about the 41-41 Suna and 38-44 Supersonics that he beat to get to the finals...

Fine season for Portland for it was the first time they had to play 16 more games for the first time
with a lot of injuries. That's a playoff tested team they played who know how to close out games
and teams and its clear whoever gets them in the next round will have their hands full winning two
games.

3rd most PPG for a player in a conference Finals in NBA history at 36.5. '09 Lebron (38.5) and '05 Amare (37.0) were higher. Though Curry's was far more efficient and they both lost. Not bad for a guy people were having choice words not so long ago. He and the Warriors (especially Dray) shut a lot of people up and changed some narratives very quickly over the past 6 games.

Draymond has been amazing. He lost that weight and he's been back to his old self.

But but but if Denver was playing they would play way better than Portland.
But but but if OKC was playing they would play way better than Portland.

Good to know! Next time try to actually beat Portland and then maybe your statement might become reality.

Ha.. Fair point. But I'm not so much talking about a forum as I am the national narrative of fans/talking heads, etc. That said, even the narrative around him/them on this forum has clearly taken a 180 compared to where it was after say Game 3 of the Rockets series.

If they can afford him, hell yes. He's an absolute must have in this team, I never thought he would be this good.
