Jokic should've easily been in the top 3 candidates, especially after how he led a young Nuggets team to the 2nd seed. I don't understand how PG was voted over Jokic as well. Keep in mind, this Nuggets team wasn't even a playoff team last season and Jokic led them to the 2nd seed at the West. This year was even harder than last year.
George was injured in the playoffs. If Jokic broke his leg in the first playoff game, it should not have an impact on MVP voting.
Having said that, George was top 3 through the first 2/3rds of the season, but the injury brought his numbers down quite a bit, although George also played a lot more minutes than Jokic, so he had an impact on more minutes of his team's games than Jokic. It's close, but I suppose Jokic given the impact George's injury had on him over the last third of the season.
