Russ would have averaged a triple double while doing that.
Lillard is a good scorer but that is it. Game 7? Thank McCollum or they are out. Last season? 4-0 and out. His record in the playoffs is very, very poor. He isn't even a top 5 PG (maybe fringe top 5), very, very overrated chucker.

The main argument against Westbrook is that he shoots poorly. How is a 40% FG shooter (in the playoffs) better than Westbrook, when he is worse at literally everything?

not top 5? he is the second best point guard in the league....go do something else with your time..basketball talk isnt for you buddy.

it does feel like he's approaching a plateau. Which is still a damn good player. But separated ribs at the biggest moment of the season is unfortunate and now the super max kicks in, totally hampering his teams flexibility in helping him, going forward. I don't know if we ever see him back on this stage (WCF).

Top 10, the Blazers won't compete for a championship or be taken seriously until they shore up that crappy frontcourt. If I was the Blazers GM I would have a serious conversation with Jusuf Nurkic because that dude is always hurt come playoff time and they just gave him a contract extension. Tell his big doofy to stay off social media and find some way to cut weight so he can be durable next season.

What is crazy Dame and CJ wanted Melo on the Blazers and they never got him, instead they got Rodney Hood? Give me a friggin break. This is not on Dame at all, if the team does not step up it does not matter how much Dame scores.

I think Lillard is right at the borderline level where he doesn't have the expectation to lead his team to a championship so there isn't much pressure on him to perform at the highest level. In some sense, it's great for him as he is either underappreciated or overachieving in the point of view of 90% of the fans.
