Re: All-NBA Teams announced
So Paul George was all NBA 1st team, Westbrook was all nba 3rd team, they had a solid center and some other nice pieces and that team couldn't get out of the 1st round? In fact they were only capable of winning one game in the series? lol. Hmm. Something is not adding up.

So we agree that George was the right choice for the 1st team?

Wow - interesting display of real emotion there. He’s upset - guess he lost quite a bit of potential money over it too.

What doesn't add up? This is a regular season award. Their regular season was fine, and the team played poorly in the playoffs and paid the price. Not sure what the issue is here.

Found this interesting because if the Bucks want to make Giannis truly the face of the franchise, this super-duper max should get it done.
They better build the entire team up around him now and sign no bad contracts.... cuz that salary is going to cause KG-like problems when trying to build a roster. It's Minny all over again.

Supermax contracts can't cripple franchises like this. Now you are actively rooting for your players to not make All-NBA. What is the NBA coming to?
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

I wish they put KD on 3rd. Keep disrespecting him so he leaves. He prolly already feels disrespected by being the 7th highest vote getter. In his own world, he's Jordan.

PG and Westbrook were both injured near the end and the team outside of those two really isn’t much. Who are their other “nice pieces” outside of Adams?

Woah. 100% identical to mine. First time this has ever happened in my time of watching the NBA.

Draymond isn’t up for an extension until next year so he can still be eligible for the super max next year by making it.

Surprised he is that pissed. I know players rate themselves highly and he’s missed out on a lot of money here but there’s no way he deserved All NBA Team or All Defensive Team.
There’s a reason why you went to 5 straight finals Klay and it’s being the 4th best player on your stacked team which meant you just cruised through the regular season.
It’s his own fault he didn’t make it because 1) he was coasting on defense and 2) couldn’t hit the side of a barn door in the first half of the season.

i wonder who Klay thinks he should be in over
dude just didn't have a great year tbh, had one of his worst shooting stretches of his career at the beginning of the season.

Probably Kemba, and he does have a case there, but Kemba is the best player on his team when Klay is 3-4th on his so there’s that.
Another thing is he and Westbrook both shot really bad at the start of the season - and Westbrook was still a much worse shooter even when he “improved” at the end, so he may be thinking about that too. Like saying “so you overlook Westbrook’s shooting drop off but not mine? Even though I’m better than him on my worst day and my team is going to its fifth straight finals when they are out in round 1 again?” - which is not an unreasonable argument.
Klay a victim of being on a team w/ 5 all stars and being compared to his prior seasons performance on this one.

I still believe the ALL-NBA teams should be the best 15 players. regardless of position. it should look exactly like the MVP voting.
but good teams.

Wouldn’t be mad at him for believing his impact on both ends should of had him out do Kemba. Also winning and his regular season numbers sort of evening out

I quite agree on Klay's year, but I would imagine its the, oh, $30 million or so he just lost that has him chafed. Somebody takes $30 million from me and I am showing up at their door late at night some night to have a little chat.
