Celtics are turning into the Knicks if they make this deal. AD will walk, just like Kyrie will. Or they end up keeping both. What happens?

Ainge was always going to go all in on AD for years even with the risk. It would be risky for both teams imo to trade every asset

I really don't understand it from the Celtics POV. Kyrie looks like he's gone, so why give up your assets for AD, whether he stays or leaves?

The one saying no here is the one person involved who doesn’t have a damn say in where he ends up.
He wants to choose where he goes? Opt out next season and enjoy Phoenix or Sacramento.

If Kyrie is indeed gone, I agree. If Danny knows otherwise, it's different. If Kyrie is staying, I absolutely go for AD.

Good for the Celtics. Hope they swoop in and steal him, if only for a season. You never know what could happen in a year’s time. Look at the Kawhi situation..

I feel like AD would be a good fit in Boston. They could give up Tatum, Smart and their 'treasure trove' of picks. A lineup of Kyrie, Brown, Hayward, AD and Horford would be pretty hard to beat

He could be there just to drive up the price and make the Lakers give up everything they got and then some. Still have my theory about Benson. Wonder if it comes true or not. We will find out in a bit.
