Ed Malloy needs to not be there for the sake of both teams. That whole crew really.

basically to have a chance at taking game 6, just like game 5 gsw needs to go red hot from 3 or have the raptors fo ice cold from open looks. They aren't going ro create as many open looks or defend as well, so they'll need to bank on razor hot 3 point making or ice cold raptor shooting.

I think it'll come down to Raptors shooting v GSW defense. Role players tend to shoot worse on the road and in a Game 6 elimination that could be amplified. On the other had GSW have played some horrible D and if they don't step up even a potentially poor shooting night from the Raptors might be too much to overcome.

Other than that it comes down to the usual...foul trouble, TO's, rebounding etc

Warriors supporting cast. They need to play avoid to great decent defense, cutting off passing lanes to the paint shots. Also they need to hit shots at a level that shift the pendulum back towards the middle, which would mean above average. Since iguodala is like 24% from 3 m, he needs to have the game that averages everything out. Aka like 50% on 5-6 attempts and support from the role players. Raps rotation has been awesome on defense and although some guys may regress on offense they still have Kawhi and guys who can step up or go crazy. Plus they’re gonna he better from outside. Warriors need a great game from role players and btmetter defense PLUS great games from Steph and Klay on O

3pt shooting is generally always gonna be the biggest factor & variable. It’s the biggest reason a team like my Bucks for example, got swept after going up 2-0. The shooting went cold while guys on the Raptors stepped up & shot lights out.

I’d look for Draymond to have an outlier offensive game eventually. Nobody can be left open that often & not put the ball in the basket at some point. Warriors role guys need to come in & not allow the dam to break defensively. Essentially meaning no Jordan Bell, telling McKinnie to stop using him arms & Livingston’s gotta give them ANYTHING.

If the Warriors can get a 3rd player to step up offensively.

If they do, they can win.

If not, they'll need a lot of things to go their way.

It always comes down to 3 point shooting, and a lot of narratives we write are based off of the variance of whether those looks go in from game to game. Like Danny Green, he's either lights out or complete garbage from 3 and you really can't explain why most of the time.

Will the Warriors manage not to be terrible on defense? Will any Warrior role player step up? Will the Warriors get the favorable calls that Toronto got at home?

You can't reasonably hope for Curry to totally carry you every game. The Warriors are losing primarily because their defense has been terrible.

gsw defense needs to show up or they'll have to continue to rely on raptors missing open shots. not exactly a winning receipt, even though there is a chance that it's going to work out

Comes down to role players hitting their shots - 2's and 3's - on both teams. For example, if Cousins comes out again and dominates like he did in the short amount of minutes he played, then it might be a long night for the Raptors. On the flip side, if Danny Green comes out and hits 2-3 3's in the first quarter, that's a definite good sign for the Raptors.

Three Pointers Made:

Gm1: TOR 13 - GSW 12 = TOR wins by 9
Gm2: TOR 11 - GSW 13 = GSW wins by 5
Gm3: TOR 17 - GSW 12 = TOR wins by 14
Gm4: TOR 10 - GSW 8 = TOR wins by 13
Gm5: TOR 8 - GSW 20 = GSW wins by 1

Zach Zarver and two no names needs to do every game. He’s the only good crew chief I can think of and a lot of no names are no names because you get no press when you do a good job.

Like every other game, it'll be which role players step up.

Defense and supporting cast as always. Stars are going to get their points. Everyone else is what make the difference. And threes are included in that so...why pick 3s?!

It's 3 point shooting.

The NBA is a chuck fest now.

Toronto just had a chance to win their first NBA title and they were down by 1 point-

They took a corner 3 at the buzzer that got blocked :banghead:

Winning is the most important factor. Everything else falls in line for that alone.
