If AD renounces 4 mill trade kicker Lakers have 32+ mill cap space. Mind you everything else on roster would be MLE and minimums, but still impressive.

Yep, but now (apart of Kuzma) they really lack useful players under rookie and team-friendly cheap contracts... anyway, they are already on the very good road now with two true superstars, it can be only better from now

Assuming they have no chance at kawhi I’d go really hard at kemba. Fits great, 0 ego and can defend. I definitely think he’d be way better than Kyrie.

Second choice maybe butler?

Maybe even trade kuzma for the right deal.

I don't like the Kemba fit. I love Kemba but that Lakers team would need a shooter.

They don't have many assets now, but they can see what Kuz and what would get them (Beal?)

Dont think that's gonna get it done.

Someone can't do math...

LBJ 37.5
Wagner 2
Kuzma 2
Bogna 1.6
AD 27
7 cap holds *900k
Deng 5
76.4mn

109-81.4=27.6mn

Maybe Rondo comes back cheap and maybe we bring back Bullock (can shoot the 3) so I’m not too worried I think people wanna come to Lakers now that we got Anthony Davis!! Wooohoooo

Seems like they can get 4/$117 if they renounce everyone:

In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Obviously that is based on renouncement and not guaranteed. Forget who tweeted but it's a reporter I trust.

Yet you still counted cap holds that would obviously be renounced in this formula to skew the number further? Okay it's 32.5 not 35 million, I'm sorry. Its just about a supermax.

Have no idea what you just said but most forget about cap holds. It's in the standard CBA, you must have 12 roster charges on your books.

CBA FAQ is your friend promise...
