Including 6 straight. 30 points total in 21 minutes @ 63% shooting, and he destroyed Sexton in that third quarter.

Jarrett Culver had another strong showing on Tuesday vs. the Pacers, scoring 15 points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two turnovers in 20 minutes.
The Wolves haven't started him yet and it seems like Jake Layman is the favorite to start at SF, but Culver looks set up for a featured role on the second unit. That may actually be a good thing since his usage will be up, and that may mean less overlap with Andrew Wiggins and his 15-20 shot attempts. He's an upside pick in the late rounds but fantasy owners will need patience early in the season.
Goga Bitadze returned from an ankle injury and made his debut on Tuesday, scoring 14 points with four rebounds, two assists, a block, two 3-pointers and six turnovers in 24 minutes.
He hit 6-of-9 shots and looked good tonight, sans the turnovers and four fouls. Bitadze should be in line for some minutes in the rotation this season behind Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis, and his ability to hit threes and block shots makes him worth monitoring going forward. His NBA debut was a success.
Darius Garland came off the bench for 16 points, four assists, two 3-pointers and one turnover in 25 minutes on Tuesday.
He was coming off an ankle injury and looked good tonight, although the lack of assists from both Garland and Collin Sexton (two assists) is concerning in terms of fantasy. But both of the young guards should score a lot of points this season.
Matisse Thybulle racked up seven points, six rebounds, one assist, four steals, two blocks and one triple in 25 minutes of Tuesday's preseason action vs. Detroit.
Thybulle has solidified his spot in the rotation as the first wing off the bench, but was rewarded with a start tonight with Ben Simmons and Al Horford getting a day off. The takeaway from the preseason is that Thybulle's historic steal/block rates have translated at the NBA level so far, as he's averaging 3.0 steals and 1.5 blocks through four preseason games. He's trending up as a late-round defensive specialist in category leagues.
Tremont Waters, playing on a two-way contract, got hot Tuesday and hit 10-of-16 shots and 3-of-8 3-pointers off the bench on his way to 24 points, two rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three turnovers in 28 minutes.
He's going to spend a lot of time in the G-League, but he was feeling it tonight as he and Carsen Edwards combined to score 54 of the Celtics 118 points. Of course, none of the big names were playing for the Celtics and this was just a preseason game, and the reality is that Waters is going to struggle to play a big role in the rotation.
Carsen Edwards started and played just under 21 minutes on Tuesday, hitting 10-of-16 shots and 9-of-15 3-pointers for 30 points, three rebounds, a block and one turnover in a preseason win over the Cavaliers.
The rookie from Purdue lit up the third quarter with 28 points on 9-of-12 shooting and hit 8-of-11 3-pointers in the quarter. His teammates have been raving about his ability from beyond the arc and it was on full display tonight. He's got a real chance to provide the Celtics with instant offense off the bench and while there's some risk involved with drafting him, using a late-round flier on Edwards makes sense, especially after tonight's awesome shooting show.

Tyler Herro is the guy that I wanted the Suns to draft after we traded down (with Brandon Clarke and Matthias Thybulle as 2nd and 3rd). Cam Johnson has looked promising so far, but Herro is a ROY dark horse and has all the makings of becoming the steal of this year's draft IMO.

You already have Booker, I don't think you needed Herro too.

This class has really looked great so far. For a draft that many maligned outside Zion, its great to see guys like Clarke, Thybulle, Gota, Edwards, NAW, Herro, etc really show out. Its looks like a much better class than many anticipated. I think 75% of the R1 picks may be rotation guys this season. That's pretty wild.
I agree 100%.KembaWalker wrote:PJ Washington plays like a 10 year vet. Really impressed
