Re: ROTY thread
I'm surprised how highly people are all rating Carsen Edwards, why did he fall out of the first round?

Re: ROTY thread
You overrate Morant so much, rookies PG need time to adapt in the league. Just because this year Trae and Luka are outliers ( and much better than morant was talent wise), dont mean that would happen again.

Hey.. Malcolm Brogdon came out of nowhere to win it a few year ago.
He was another one of those "older, low ceiling" draft picks

that was a really, really weak class tho, it was a 2 player draft (Ingram/Simmons), and Ingram wasn't ready to contribute as a rook and Simmons got injured.

Re: ROTY thread
Assuming health Zion will run away with it. Best player, will have one of the larger roles, team will likely be easily the best of higher picks.

I think this years class is just as weak.Other than Zion, I'm not sold on any of these guys

no way, other than Ingram/Simmons, if you were drafting a top 10 the other 8 would be from this class. it's not really that close.

Who other than Zion do you see becoming a star? I see a bunch of role players and average startersclyde21 wrote:Maze wrote:clyde21 wrote:

Re: ROTY thread
Zion feels obvious so outside that I think Coby White.
He's built NBA ready, I think Chicago is actually a nice fit for him, it's worth remembering that Morant's numbers were similar in his freshmen year and that if White continues trending upwards, like he did all year, then I think he's potentially a menace.

This.
Another bit of Suns luck that we get the 4 and 8 in a draft where there are 3 obvious talents in Simmons, Ingram and Brown and very little outside of that in the top 10.

A dark horse candidate is rack room shoes intern and OKC draft pick Demetrius Bosley.
