The Nets STOLE the Knicks plans and are now the kings of NYC

Congrats to the Nets. Knicks traded away one of the best players in franchise history to have a chance of getting 2 max cats. The Nets held their cards close, cleared the space near the draft and then took away the 2 max cats the Knicks wanted and to add salt to the wound took away the Knicks center in Jordan.
This officially ends the Knicks era in NYC and they should seriously consider moving to Seattle.
Rock bottom for the Knicks franchise?

Sure they have cap space and young picks still. It's not like they are saddled with Amare's albatross or Joakim Noah etc.
That said
They just got upstaged by their distant little brother team. Beaten at their own game.
This is rock bottom for the Knicks IMO.

Nope.
That comes when they throw 100/4 at Cousins in 3..2..1...
Official SAS apology thread - He called Kyrie/KD to Nets

this dude gets ridiculed unnecessarily. Yet again, he comes through with the big scoop. This guy is the hardest worker in the business with Get Up, First Take, radio show, and then sports center appearances.
Another great get by SAS, one of the best in the business

Just to see Knicks fans go off it would almost be worth a ban to post this thread (not really mods, don't ban me lol). "Knicks agree to deal with DeMarcus Cousins for 4 years/100 million".

You absolutely hated KP--when did he become one of the best players in franchise history?

Oh, I get it, you're bashing the Knicks again....

Elite Front Office actually means something.
Now if Kawhi chooses LAC over LAL and TOR, then it really goes to show how having a FO that's done a multitude of smart moves can rebuild quickly from the ashes.
NYK fans in shambles, and if BRK starts dominating and winning chips, NYC fandom might just start defecting en masse.

Nets fanbase over the next 4 years will be over half bandwagoners. That's the sad part. Nets literally have no fans.

Real Knick fans would never. good for BK to win, if they do, but it wouldn’t be the same as if the Knicks won it all.

Personally, as I've posted to these boards for sometime now, I think the Knicks may have dodged a bullet--crazy Kyrie and an injured KD may not prove as good together as they look now on paper. (I think things may go south, and fast.)
Good luck (sincerely) to the Nets, though.

The Knicks' plans was Prime Kevin Durant, Prime Kyrie Irving and Prime Anthony Davis.
The Nets got Durant with a torn Achilles. They got DeAndre Jordan instead of Anthony Davis.

Yeah, in May. A lot changed from May to June. He also predicted this exact outcome with 90% certainty just last week. Shouldn't the most recent news be more relevant?
