I see your point but keep in mind the Morris twins have been subject to getting f'd by management before and would have learnt from that to always look out for one self over everything else. I still recon signing with the Spurs even at 5mill less a year is a better long term investment for him given the fit.

He would have had a second-year player option w the Spurs though.
The offer was basically the Spurs @ $10 mill a year but a second year if he wanted it, so more security, or a one-year, $15-million deal w the Knicks.
I don't think the move had much to do with the Spurs so much as it was about playing in New York, a possible chance to go to the Lakers, and $5 million.
He was definitely unprofessional, or at least his agency was, with how this was handled, but it's debatable if it was the right move for him. It very well may have been. We'll see how many minutes he gets and how he fares on a team with fewer expectations and less defined roles.

last off season kawhi wanted out of the spurs, and this season morris decided to not sign with them.
