NY has all those team option contracts, so if Rich really wants in the NY market...hmm. This is why they cancelled the #23 jersey switch. No need to do it if he will just get it back next year.

I expect him to stay, but i've seen crazier things happen. Nothing is a done deal in today's NBA.

You clearly never watched the video included in the tweet. Why take the time to comment on something without knowing the context first? You assumed wrong btw the question had nothing to do with the timing of a potential extension

unless he's traded he'll take a major financial hit and he wont be talked about all season long by the media and on air personalities as a free agent which helps his branding and sponsors etc. Kuz would get his max slot if AD did leave lol

It seems like he wants the Kawhi treatment is all, but you don't get that when you get traded to where you demanded.

This isn’t new.
Before he was traded, Rich Paul said that they were going to experience free agency and he was probably going to sign short contracts, and sign a 10ywar vet max in 2022.
If they don’t make the playoffs or lebron breaks his leg he will probably leave. Otherwise, stay on 1+1 deal.

There’s really no upside to saying anything definitively this far I advance if you’re not signing an extension at the same time.
