Ok this is for number 1, or the worst of the worst.

If you think I should of added someone for the next poll let me know.

Poll open for two days, you can change your vote.

There will be 5 polls or we pick them one at a time to get the 5 worst.

Should have started with number 2 and Sarver as the base model

Dolan has been hands off for years now, and he's trusted Steve Mills and Scott Perry to (finally) go with a full rebuild. Contrary to Sarver, he doesn't hesitate to spend dough either.

His tenure as the owner of the Knicks has been an unmitigated disaster but at this point I feel like he's become the punching bag for the Knicks' losing because it's convenient not to look at things from a more sophisticated perspective and understand that how well a team is run is not always exemplified by wins and losses. For years, the Knicks lost because they were incompetent. Now they are losing because they are rebuilding (the right way I might add), not because Dolan is the worst owner in sports.

Some of his actions like banning or not inviting the NY Daily News remain unjustifiable though. But I'll take Dolan over Sarver any day.

1) Dolan should be the runaway winner, but there are a couple guys giving him a run for his money.

2-4 is pretty easy too with:
Sarver
MJ
Leonsis

I could go any of several ways for the 5th spot. My hatred for the cheapness of Reinsdorf makes me want to put him here. But Taylor has a long history of being clueless and Vivek was quite the clown show for a while there, but he's still a "young" owner. Taylor has been at it for a long time and with an awful track record. So he rounds out the "top" 5.

Holy hell, that is a lot of stink in that poll.

Absolutely. Or allowed 3-5 choices. The thread title doesn't match the poll.

I would probably go:

Sarver
Dolan
MJ
Buss
Taylor

That’s a really tough list to only pick 5 from.

The only people that don't pick Sarver are disillusioned but biased fans of the teams you listed.

Edit your poll to allow five choices bud.

Sun, Knicks, Lakers. The others all have somewhat of a logical reason for their previous failures. Bulls next maybe but the have also had some bad luck.

There will be 5 polls eventually as they are completed.

I would just edit the title and add #1 or something, to make it known its going to be a countdown like they're doing with the player poll. I get what you're doing, but I also get the confusion as well.

What about the Orlando Magic owner? He hasn’t been good either.

The Knicks are in the biggest media market in the country and valued at twice as much as their nearest NBA competitor...but have made it to the playoffs just four times in the last nineteen years.

Dolan should "win" this in a close race, with Sarver and then Taylor (the latter two both equally bad but in smaller markets) yapping at his heels.

I thought about them or the Pelicans. If a couple of people want the Magic added for the upcoming poll I will.

Just wondering, how come the Kings owner isn’t being viewed that much as the worst considering that they haven’t made the playoffs since 2006.

The Maloofs owned the Kings for most of that time.

Dolan
Sarver
MJ

Those are the top 3, and then there's a gap.

Dolan.

As a bonus though, I love posting this video for this guy who is part of the top 5.
