Personal preference:Give me Nash instead of Iverson on the 2000s team and we're taking down all other Decades 8-)

Ah, the joys of 2k, in play now online $100 says you'll get matched up with one of these teams while using the current Celtics or Sixers.

2010s is taking everyone down. Lebron + KD + Curry? Sheesh.

Remember, this isn’t necessarily their idea of the best team for those decades. It’s their idea of the best teams based on players whose copyright images are available.

Is Dwight really the best we can do?

Trying to think.

Technically, Allen Iverson is much more of a "legend" than Nash, even if you dont think he's as good a player.

Also, before anyone mentions him, Charles Barkley can't be there because he doesn't give 2k the rights to use his likeness.

We tried on a specific thread about 2010s Centers about a month ago, poll and everything.

Results were Marc Gasol,Old Man Tim Duncan,Dwight Howard and many comments about small ball line up with Draymond at the 5.

Allen Iverson is a Legend all right,it's just that he's not as much a Point Guard as a Combo SG undersized Marvel of a player.
(Plus he played his peak years at the 2 with Eric Snow as his Starting Point Guard)

AD at the 5 could be an option.

Thats a good point. OTOH, Kevin Durant isnt a 4 but they have him listed there, so I dont think they're being a complete stickler for positions so much as what you can reasonably play.

Dwight had what, 5 relevant years in the 2010's as a high impact player.

If AD had 4, which he did, i'd consider throwing him in there.

Agreed,KD is as much of a PF as AI was a PG.Can play the position but it's not the one he excels at.

From a basketball point of view, unrelated to stardom,i'd take Nash's 100 ways to get an assist over Iverson's 100 ways to score a basket with that specific line-up.

Maybe it’s the homer in me, but Dwight more than deserves the nod and T Mac was arguably the best player in the league for several years, constantly in the conversation with Kobe.

Probably. But Iverson does make sense for a legends team over Nash.

If anything, people should be complaining about Lebron being in the 00's team over Dirk.

Give me Anthony Davis (or even old Duncan who was really good until he was 38).

Howard’s prime ended in 2012 in LA. It’s not as if he dominated this decade. Yeah he was the best center for 4 years (some of it in the 00s), but Davis has better prime years so far (2015 and 2018). And He actually has equivalent win shares playing just 7 years while often hurt. Davis is more talented than Howard.

Where is Paul Pierce on that 2000s team? Glaring omission.
