Lebron worked best with bigmen who can shoot 3's like Kevin Love. AD doesn't shoot 3's.

Kevin Love is your only example of a big-man on one of Lebron's teams who could shoot 3's?
C'mon dude, Lebron won 2 of his 3 championships in Miami. At least you could use one of his Miami teammates as an example.
I don't think it matters if the 3-point shooters on his team are bigs, wings, or guards as long as they can knock down the 3 (Kyrie, Ray Allen, Mike Miller, etc).
Last season the Lakers didn't have many 3-point shooters - they added Danny Green this offseason and hilariously Dudley is nearly a career 40% 3-point shooter. I still think they could use one more good 3-point shooter since I think Dudley is washed and would be a net-negative on the court so we'll see what they do.

Did you look up his stats before making this thread? It would have helped.

You understand that Bosh in ‘11 and ‘12 didn’t shoot many 3s at all right? It wasn’t ‘till he came back at the end of the ‘12 ECFs that he showcased that he’s been working on it hard and from there on out he started launching from deep with regularity. Prior to that though, him and LeBron worked just fine.
So 1) AD can improve his 3pt shot, which he already takes with regularity, and 2) hypothetically, if you want to assume he won’t shoot any with LeBron on the floor with him, liken him to a much better Ilgauskas, whom LeBron had great chemistry with.

the game was different back in '11 and '12, shooting 3's wasn't that important compared to today. Lebron also was in his prime in '11 and '12, Lebron in 2019 is 2 years away from retirement.
Lebron had great chemistry with Ilgauskas, so what? They didn't win a title

The 3pt shooting era is over. Golden State is done.
Look at how many teams have massive, twin tower frontcourts. This is the future of the league.

Thats debateable
Brooklyn still had a better off-season
Clips added 2 of the best players in the world but gave up a metric ton for one of them
Brooklyn also added 2 of the best players in the world and gave up nothing to do it

The Clippers are the best team in the NBA, and both their superstars shoot 3s, and are not even close to being 'twin towers'

The point isn’t that the game is different, because a 6’9 SF in LeBron PnR w/ the best mobile big in the game right now in Davis in his prime is going to be deadly, and from a PnPop perspective, whether from midrange or from 3, Davis will make teams pay, though from a popping from 3pt perspective, he’ll improve his shot as he has been over the last few seasons, and the looks will be tremendous if the defense zones in on LeBron and gives Davis space.
As for your rebuttal about LeBron and Ilgauskas “not winning a title”, I never guaranteed LeBron and Davis will win a title, so this poor rebuttal on your end to try and come up with the long end of the stick is laughable.

If anything I would say cocky. Clips built that team without any big shortcuts besides sacrificing their future. Lakers could def win a Championship but it could bite them in the ass just as much
