Injuries happen in basketball all the time. Is this really that concerning?

That's what,2-3 months of recovery time?

So he was actually cut from the World Cup cause he was in pain and they just couldn't locate the stress fracture.

You have to be very careful with stress fractures (if it's confirmed it's a stress fracture).

Rush someone back, and the re-injury risk is very high

Not a doctor but if I'm not mistaken stress reactions can actually take a very long time to heal in the worst case.

I remember Seth Curry going from day-to-day to missing a whole year with a stress reaction (in his leg though) a while back.

Think it's hard to put a timetable on it since you can't really do much than wait to see if it gets better.

He’d be a nice scoring option for them for sure with Kuzma out.

From Google

“Depending on the severity of the fracture or stress reaction, the doctor will typically prescribe 6-12 weeks of rest. This means no running whatsoever. It's very important that runners listen to this advice.”

Players who make shots are always nice scoring options, but not those with a TS% hovering around 50.0.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.

If liz misses significant time, Lakers won't make the POs.
Will be interesting to see at what point the Lakers tank and trade both LBJ and AD for pieces/picks
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

LBJ and AD for Tatum and Brown? With Tatum and Brown, we could trade for AD!

Melo is washed but I think it’s possible he can give them 12-15 PPG off the bench with a 43-44 FG%. Nothing special but better than Jared Dudley.
