Normally you can tell when a guy has gotten their hair cut, but it seems like ball players have the same length hair all the time. I get my hair cut once every 4 weeks and you immediately see the difference when I get the fresh cut. Do athletes cut their hair every week in order to maintain their look?

I saw an interview with Dele Alli (football player) and he said he cut his hair every 7 or 10 days. He also brought his hairstylist with him in his LA summer trip

On average NBA players get their hair cut once every 5.5 days, while spending, on average, $75. Tips are not accounted for in the price, so it could be more. Also beard maintenance is on the rise with most players having their beards attended to once every 12.27 days on average this may or may not include trimming of the beard hairs, a beard lineup, application of tea tree oil. Nose hairs are also generally addressed during these sessions.

How did MJ not grow his hair when he was winning rings? Seemed like he was bald forever

I am not a hair expert by any means, but it is obvious. Compare 20 year OJ to 20 year old MJ. OJ hair is rich in texture, whereas MJ hair isn't, hairline already receding at that young of age. Not to mention OJ hairline is very low, that only happens with good genes. Dude not ever going to be bald, I am just stating a fact.

they have personal barbers and get it done every week or so.

Im a every 2 week cut kind of guy. Gotta keep it fresh.
But if Im an NBA baller thats on tv im getting it weekly.
