Zion is beast man.
I do have concern for this team, Alvin Gentry while a good offensive coach can not coach a defense, he's been terrible with AD playing there, Jrue etc. I'm not sure he's the right guy

Work? Lmao Gentry has been like this since day one. His teams doesn't play defense. It's only pre season so give him time but going under the screen vs Lavin I'm pretty sure that's on the coach. He couldn't have a good defense with AD and Jrue.

Man I know it's only pre season but if Jonathan Isaac plays defense like this all next season he will make an all defensive team

Honestly watching them play nobody did anything glaringly bad defensively in their man assignments, but the communication and overall defensive unity is just bad. It seems like the defensive scheme is just “go play hard.” Idk.

Zion has got to be the most unique athletic specimen that I have ever seen in this sport. There wont be another player with his frame and athleticism for like 100 years. He is like a 6'6 running back with a 40+ vert at 270lbs. Its nuts, guys just bounce off him. Even moreso than LBJ at the same age, granted Zion relies on his natural abilities even moreso than James at the same age IMO.

I’m extremely impressed with Garrett Temple and Nawba. I see why fans have raved about them. They just play scrappy basketball.

I never valued a guy like Temple until seeing how solid he is on both ends.

Caruso's not ready to be a primary ballhandler; porous shot selection and late turnovers cost them the game. He needs about 2 more years to ripen.

He did well enough before late game but if you are asking him to leading the team in those situations then yeah, you are asking for trouble.

in all seriousness, I hope the Nets forced those guys to sit out of precaution and neither is anything serious (can't imagine LeVert's eye poke was that bad). Kyrie continuing to prove how fragile he is..
