Yeah, they are not that deep. They need one of Harden or Westbrook in the game at all times but they built a strong lead with Harden on the floor.

Zubac lost a ton of weight. Dude looks like he is in great shape.

It's a hot take, but the Clippers' PGs are sub-par playmakers. I think that's going to hold them back.

Harden is going HAM.

NBA is not ready for this man. Step back 3 is the most unstoppable shot in all of basketball.

I think equally, the Clippers need both of their stars or they're going to struggle to score. They're moving the ball around the perimeter, but they're not getting good looks.

Same old Rockets that need Harden to do everything for them. Mixed feeling watching this.

Ans just heard Westbrook will be playing in Tokyo. That would be the real first meaningful preseason game for them.

Yeah they look a little disorganized, they don't have Kawhi or PG13 out there though, so it's hard to know what their true offense will look like.

I think the C position is going to be hard for them. Managing Harrell and Zubac. I just have a feeling that Zubac should be played more but they may not pull the trigger on that in order to appease Harrell. Unless Harrell can be a PF and get his outside shot going? He looks a little over-powered as a C at times.

They're playing fast, run-and-gun D'Antoni ball, trying to shoot 3s early. They've missed a bunch of them. They don't have a ton of movement in the half court though, it's basically James Harden breaking down his guy and either lobbing, finishing or kicking back out.

Harden's sideways one-footed corner 3 move is another foul factory.

How many times need to lose in PO, that these HOU idiots start to understand: it isn’t winning basketball.

We were definitely disorganized in our first preseason game. Beverly has to play more in control with the ball and need to get Harkless some easy buckets. Shamet and Robinson were ice cold tonight. We are going to just need more reps to work out the kinks but the ball was moving off hand offs.

The center situation I couldn’t agree more and we had issues with this last season. The interior defense is night and day between Zubac and Harrell. Harrell may be slowing down because he has to do more scoring with the 2nd unit but Doc Rivers plays him these insanely long stretches and it kills our interior defense and rebounding. Harrell is a important cog but he’s still a undersized energy player so when you burn him out things like the 2nd quarter happen.

For this team to really hit I agree that Zubac needs to continue to develop and play more. Zu shouldn’t be eliminated from closing games just because he’s young when he’s playing better. Harrell is in a contract year and they are trying to keep him happy but the theme of the team was sacrifices. Even the 1st rounder rookie Kabengele didn’t get in the game until late

That might make sense if the Rockets were perennial bottom feeders...or struggling to make the playoffs...or getting bounced in the first round...or losing to lesser teams.
From what I've seen, the Rockets win plenty.

Oh and It's only preseason :D

Houston has/had the highest expectations every season, but the best win was against 56 win LAC in 2015, where Harden choked a lot. UTAH and DAL were next two teams with 50 wins were beaten by Harden in 7 years. That is all. There arent big wins in Harden PO resume: no GSW, no SAN, no OKC
