Agreed.

Dirk's ring is far more legendary compared to almost everyone else, not just Curry.

Only Hakeem's 1994 ring & Duncan's 2003 ring is comparable of Dirk's 2011 ring.

Do you also discredit LeBron's 2016 title for the same reason too?

Who the **** diminishes Dirk's 2011 title run? Please show me where this happens. Seriously, I want to see evidence of this.

Dirk Nowtizki's 2011 run is probably the most universally-respected stretch of basketball of anyone I've watched as a fan in my lifetime. FFS man, Dirk's rampage through the playoffs is like the first thing a lot of people mention when it comes to a lone star carrying his team to a ring, along with Olajuwon in 1994.

Strange poll given the argument in the first post. And strange poll title "Which accomplishment is diminished more diminished? "

This.....

The ONLY title that should be diminished is KD's.
IMHO.

If KD was a role player or a scrub who got carried to a ring, yes. Not when he has been Warriors' best player 2 years in a row.

Sure he was the best player, but he joined a team that already won, and could have won again without him. If he was a role player it couldn't be diminished because he was not expected to win. Iggy, Dray, they are role players, their titles are str8.
Considering he couldn't BEAT GS and could only win when he joined them, his title is diminished. And that my opinion. It was a punk move, and he got his titles. Lets see how he carries his nets team.

Nope. Both teams in 2016 had injuries.

Who diminishes dirks playoff run and ring? If anything it’s used to prop him up even more and widely regarded as one of the best individuals runs we’ve seen

Uhhh...Dirk's playoff run was legendary. It's not his fault Lebron tanked the series once he wouldn't get Finals MVP.

this i agree with. the OP obviously has a horrible life and probably has had years of defeats so he wants to take it out on dirk and steph's accomplishments. the op is a 40 yr old virgin

Strange way of putting it, but neither of their titles are diminished. If you meant who did better, then it was Steph as he has gone to five straight Finals to Dirk's one. LeBron still leads with eight consecutive Finals which may never be matched.

Not that I diminish Steph's run (I don't agree with the takes that do) but the reason people do is exactly for reasons that it wasn't enough like Dirk's run. So I have no idea who would question both. Truly a mind boggling question.

Dirk you must of mixed up with someone else, he is up there with 94 Hakeem, 03 Duncan and 2019 Kawhi for offensive carry jobs to a title. I dont know where you got Dirk from.

Curry on the other hand played a 1 man team in Cavs and also had an easy western conference path. I am still not sold you can have Curry as your best player and win a title, he just got lucky because of injurys. 2016 he showed his true colors, when the going gets tough he chokes.

When people say that Dirk only won because LeBron choked, then that's diminishing his title. Instead of giving him credit.

Lol this is obviously an attempt to legitimize Curry's 2015 title , nice try Steph, you barely beat LeBron and a bunch of scrubs and still couldn't win finals MVP

Dirks 2011 was more impressive then Curry in 2015.
Heat had Bosh/Wade/James healthy more or less...

What an awful thread. All people want to do is discredit winning now.
