Reel him in for what? Slapping the ball away?

This was a 50/50 conflict. If we're reeling in Mann, we're reeling in Doncic too. Bring two fishing poles?

This is actually great, way better than not giving a **** on defence at least. I'd bet you could make a decent defensive player out of this guy, not knowing anything about him.

Pissing players off and getting under their opponents skin is exactly what some players try and do every game. Sometimes it works and sometimes it backfires; but that is what they are trying to do. Luka knows whats up and while you are here whining about it, he is at home asleep without a care in the world.

It is something to talk about as it is a preseason game and things got heated. Luka was frustrated, he had 9 turnovers, sloppy with the ball and got called for travels a lot. Mann tried hard to provoke him, they will play real NBA game soon, for better or worse for Mann.

Luka looks close to crying.

Clippers went through Chris Paul and Beverley doing petty **** like this for their entire careers there. They are not going to reel in a rookie for it.

Patrick Beverly is going to get under Luka's and any other guards skin a little more than Mann; and Beverly did not play tonight. Without George and Beverly playing, 1/2 the Clippers defense was missing in action.

He was cooking Beverly last year every time. He doesn't have the size to stop Luka. Paul George is a different story, though.
I think Luka wouldn't react in such a way to Beverly as he is much older.

Beverley, George, Leonard on the floor together is going to be a brutal defensive unit and it looks like Mann is not a wall flower on defense either. He at least gives the effort. Doc likes his players to play hard and physical, and this Clippers team will give him that without a lot of prodding.

Eh, I bet part of what was annoying about it was that it was some nobody rookie trying to act tough / get noticed by being aggravating in a meaningless game.

At least with Beverley you know it’s a veteran who isn’t putting on a fake show just to get noticed.

Ofcourse, I agree. Great team. They still have some weaknesses like everybody. I see a lack of playmaking and center position.

Mavs success really depends on defense and 3-point shooting.

Maybe Mann is a nobody but that nobody went into Luka's body and put his hands on his throat. That part, I think, may get Mann a one game suspension and nice little fine.

Even with the Clippers defense, if Zinger is on like he was tonight, they have nothing for him. They have the defensive pieces to deal with Luka and Hardaway, but not Zinger.

I was thinking the same thing.

Seriously though, don't really care about their altercation but Terance Mann is one of the guys I pegged as being a huge steal. He's going to be really good.
