Good grief, another one of these. I'd rather have Luka than prime Jordan and LeBron too. That has to be next.

Last year it was Trae vs Luka, now its Zion, hopefully next season it's not something like Lamelo vs Luka because that would be embarrassing.

similar players somehow....both have a high degree of "functional chubbiness" even though I'm sure Doncic will go through his Ivan Drago phase1

I think will play a lot more games in the nba than Zion will. I don’t trust Zions body to hold up with his side and playing style.

I love Zion, but Luka is probably better choice because he should age better and I am very scared of injuries with Zion. Even if Luka blows his knee, he could return 100%, Zion is too athleticism reliant and injuries could really impact how good he can be.

Zion might end up having a higher peak. He will also have a much sharper decline.

I think Luka will end up winning at least one championship as well. He just has that "it factor" in big moments under pressure, which is incredibly rare.

We shall see, I guess. Both will be great players and both are awesome for the league.

Luka might have a much longer career than Zion. But Zion would be more dominant if he stays healthy.

Lukas body survived a 80 and 73 games season in europe when he was 17 to 19 years old. So health should be at his side.

It's not just that he's so athletic... it's that he's so athletic and also huge at the same time. I don't know the math, but force = mass X acceleration and this dude is massive and has a 45in vertical and uses all 45in of his vertical. Knees aren't built to withstand all that force for a long period of time.

At this point I would probably take Luka. He's established and even though Zion has looked good in preseason, he's still a bit of an unknown.

Agreed. There is nothing concerning about a 285 lbs. man landing after nearly jumping four feet in the air. There is no chance he'll have knee issues if he stays at his current weight.
