the amount of thc in gummies is not significant but the problem is they take forever to start working and it is very easy to take way too many doses if you don't know that and then get hit like by mack truck a couple hours later.

You don't OD in the sense that you won't die from your respiration rate slowing down, but edibles can definitely make you do something dumber that could lead to an injury/death. I read they bind to different cell receptors so that it almost is viewed as a pyschotic drug when its in that form? I could have it wrong. Never messed with edibles myself after hearing so many horror stories from people freaking out.

Then there's always the classic cop calling 911 because he thought he was going to die.

The issue with edibles is that, because you do not feel them for like forty minutes, people have the tendency to pop more and more (and often times puff on a joint as well). When it hits, people get **** destroyed.

Never in my line have I heard of someone “overdosing” on gummies, I wonder if they is poor reporting and he meant to suggest that he used too many which triggered a panic attack or full on blackout.
