Would like to see Lakers start like they were a little salty instead of gradually talking a win into existence. I'll take any win no matter the kind, but they eventually need to improve upon their first 5-8 mins of games instead of merely ratcheting up their D and effort in the 4th. Sluggish starts are one of the few remaining problem areas in their scouting report. Heat and Grizz espec, ran out of the gate like their crotches were on fiya. Ever seen Revenge Of The Nerds 1? Liquid Heat scene (Gen X slackers will all know the reference). Lakers play this game most nights where they don't feel the need to start playing hard until they're down by 10. It gives them practice in coming back, but if you're a good team, you wanna be good at all points of games. Oh, n/m. Get this sh started already!

How are the pels this bad? It doesn't make any sense. On paper they have a decent to good team. But they play like they've got a lineup of

Smush
MCW
Ryan Kelly
Kwame
Sacre
Raul
“The other day I saw one of his games. He was running with the ball at a hundred per cent full speed, I don’t know how many touches he took, maybe five or six, but the ball was glued to his foot. It’s practically impossible.”

Smushy was good. Iono why you're listing him with a bunch of crappy players. 8-)

He ripped a game recap I made on youtube (LAL @ GS, 2006) where I put "MVP = Smush!" in the title and then he put the vid on his channel as his own. Straight ripped me off.

They'd give him free reins in that lineup

They lack any kind of center depth but still they have enough talent to not be the second worst defensive team in the league.

Just sick of seeing and hearing about them...

First Davis wanting out now Zion less and losing. Not getting attention for the right reasons.

Weird roster construction too.

Hope Holiday goes to a contender.

The Hawks announcers made it sound like the refs will look at the replay at halftime and possibly give the Hawks the 2 points?
