I really like how they have built this team especially after the Fizdale situation and moving on from veterans Gasol and Conley. They have done a great job imo.Interesting that a small market team is running circles around Chicago and New York.Chris Wallace made some great moves before he got demoted to new commer Zach Kleiman who looks extremely sharp.
TRADES
Marc Gasol for Jonas Valanciunas win
Mike Conley for Grayson Allen/Jae Crowder win
Chandler Parsons for Solomon Hill win
Kyle Korver/Jevon Carter for Josh Jackson/DeAnthony Melton win
Future second draft pick/Dillon Brooks huge win
Julian Washburn/ exception for Andre Iguodala/first round pick huge win and trade chip
DRAFT
Jaren Jackson JR #4 huge win
Ja Morant #2 huge win
Brandon Clarke #21 huge win
FREE AGENTS
Kyle Andersen win
Tyus Jones win
NEW COACH
Taylor Jenkins win
This team has a very bright future Jenkins looks like he's going to be a great coach Ja looks like a potential super star JJJ is looking great they have a great mix of young and veteran players Other teams that are failing need to really look at how the Grizzlies are building their future.

I'm sick over the Brandon Clarke pick. I was such a fan of his going into the draft. He's averaging 20 and 10 per 36 on 62% shooting.

I still can't believe so many teams passed on him His efficiency on both ends of the court are crazy.

Five wins in a row and JV, Morant, JJ were all great during that stretch. But Crowder looks like lowest bb iq player ever. His decision making is beyond limits.

The new F.O has kill it so far they have won every single trade and draft picks so far.

They just need to draft a good wing and they could be a problem in the future. Problem is BOS has their pick if I'm not mistaken and I think with another year of development they won't be drafting high enough. Happy for MEM nonetheless.

They struck lottery luck but have put theirselves in a great position by taking advantage of every move. Trading to draft Clarke. And getting value for the aging assets and expiring they had.
The main thing, getting veterans to develop the tools right. That’s a mistake a lot of teams make.
They have a super high ceiling with Ja and JJJ and an elite role player in Clarke and Melton. I live Jonas offense but they could use a hyper athletic defensive minded center to help on high picks. JJJ shooting makes that work spacing wise

I seen Brandon Clarke coming. Even if you only watch college ball in the tourney anyone should of seen it. Teams just let the combine measurements get to them i guess.
But yeah impressive start to a rebuild by the Grizz.

He would seriously help.

Dillon Brooks has been solid too. This is my favorite team outside of Philly. There was a hole in my heart where the Grit n Grind Grizz use to be, so the transition was pretty seamless.

Wonder if they would consider making a offer to Harrell in free agency? Overpay to be the sixth man it maybe even start next to JJJ

Most definitely. The Grizz are a fun team to watch and a team you want to cheer for. I’d love to see them in the playoffs this year even if it means a clean sweep. They don’t own their pick so why not get some experience in the post season.

My bad the pick is lottery protected 1-6. That pick is still very valuable even outside of the 6th pick - obviously.

He's solid but I think his best role would be the 6th man. I think SG is a more urgent need if they want to step forward.

Or just move Brooks to the bench. It would be more balance on both end.

Whatever it takes to get that kid more than “teen” minutes.....

Let's just hope Ja doesn't turn into the next Westbrook (aside from athleticism and energy).

He’s the opposite of Westbrook early on in games. Doing everything he can to get teammates involved. It’s not unusual for him to go into the 4th with 5 points on like 4 or 5 shots then go off for 14 to win the game in the 4th.
