Nah, even Kobe's death isn't going to make me want to root for LeBron.

Well.. if they do, it's gonna be a command performance by LeBron and AD, because other than big man defense, the rest of that roster is sketchy as hell.

With that being said, the fact LeBron is in LA this year is special with the tragic death of Kobe. Kobe Bryant is The King in LA, and this would be such a great story if LeBron and the rest of the Lakers can pull this off and win it for Kobe.
At least for the rest of the year, I’m pulling for you LA. I know many others feel the same way. Win this ****ing thing for Mamba man.

Biggest season of LeBron’s career now in my opinion. We’re all purple and gold this year.

They were going to win anyway.

LeBron was the best player of Kobe's generation. Even in Kobe's best season - 2006 - LeBron was still better than him.

No he wasn't. I love LeBron we come from the city of Akron but no he was never better than Kobe.

Umm what?

Yeah it’s be cool if Bron was up there with a FMVP and Championship, and just screams into the heavens, “this is your 6th man, you will forever be with us”.

But I also think that the best team should win, so many teams have a great story now.
Philly for their hometown boy.
LAC for the king of the city.
LAL for their king.
Giannis/ Tatum/ Kyrie/ Durant for their mentor.

The Lakers win all the time already. It would be a much better tribute to Kobe if they never won again after him.

Basically it goes, for me at least the face of the nba has been.
Kareem 1970s
Bird-Magic 1980s
MJ (with a touch of Hakeem) 1990s
Shaq-Kobe 2000s
LeBron in the 2010s

I think we can pinpoint round 2010 when Kobe’s age and regression because of it, and LeBrons progression made LeBron pass him.

Personally I do think LeBron is the better player and deserves a higher alltime ranking, but it’s still all opinion, both were and are amazing,
But after this, I don’t think we will ever be able to compare LeBrons offcourt impact as much as Kobe’s... this moment, as sad as it is has immortalised Kobe, he did age and fade into insignificance, he sadly passed still around his peak, with every basketball fan alive having some love for him.

Meh.. I think we're all sick and tired of these superteams. Would much rather see the Bucks win it all.

They were the favorites even before the Kobe tragedy.

They've played the toughest schedule out of the Bucks and Clippers. They've played the most road games. They also have the best road record.

The Bucks in the West would have at least a few more losses.

You must really hate the bucks then. That team is the biggest super team.

Why would a fan care about the ratings? Does any fan go around bragging about their teams ratings? If so, I can't think of much that's more stupid.
Don’t make it personal, don’t take it personal.

Sellers don’t set market value. Buyers don’t set market value.
Market value only exists when two (or more) parties are in agreement.

I get it. But the Lakers have 16 rings. They don't need to win to honor Kobe or whatever. If they win then great for LAL and their fans, but the best team deserves to win pure and simple, and right now that looks like Milwaukee
