Seen it a million times. Injured team is free from expectations so they play loose, aggressive and unpredictable.
Meanwhile the other team expects the win so the don't match the energy and effort.

Jazz didn't shoot well and didn't have any energy at the start. I think the Kobe tribute sapped the team a bit emotionally.

Eh, I wouldn't say Mitchell whines a lot. Tonight he was acting like a child, and so were the rest of the Jazz.

Rockets were more physical than the Jazz, while the Rockets also got a tighter whistle.

That said, those Rockets players do seem to have a psycological advantage playing you guys these days. And Denver too. Every year I was afraid of that Denver-Utah b2b, yet every time something goofy happened either in Denver or Utah. I still remember that night when Mbah a Moute ate Gobert's lunch.

WTF! The Twolves lost?

I was boxscore watching and saw the Wolves up BIG with Wiggins shooting 6/7 from 3. Completely forgot about this game until i came here in the GT. I didn't even think the Kings won even after seeing the Buddy Hield thread.

Eric Gordon was unreal last night, blowing past anyone the Jazz put on him like he wasn't there, finishing strong through contact on his drives even against Gobert, forcing a bunch of fouls and shooting lights out from 3.

I hope this game helps convince D'Antoni to play his bench more instead of running his starters into the ground, poor Tucker seems exhausted, he still does great on D, but he doesn't have the legs to shoot, and harden looked exhausted lately too, his minor injury may turn out to be a blessing in disguise since it forced MDA to rest him.

Issue is not the passing or lack of it. Issue is ball sticks on Harden's hands way too long or he does nothing off the ball.

Exactly. When your three players are out and you still win in Utah, you've got to ask yourself why the rest of your crew isn't more involved. It wasn't a fluke win, those guys are legit, so there's no reason not to play more team ball.

It's one game, this same squad got ran by the Pellies pre Zion lol Gordon showed out, Rivers was great, House hit shots, they played really well and I was impressed. Don't think you can depend on them maintaining that
