Pretty much what the topic implies. Tony delk scoring 53 points back in 2001 always jumps out to me. Dana Barros in 1995 is another one. Who else do you guys have?

Brandon Jennings rookie year 55 point game was the most misleading game performance of all time..

Brandon Jennings is a good one. I remember people using that one game as proof he was a future star. There were people actually arguing he was better than Curry early on in his career. Crazy now.

For me Tracy Murray's 50 point game was so bizarre. He was a mediocre player during that time, but definitely not a guy who was going to drop 50. If I remember right he was the first guy to drop 50 that year which made it more weird.

I remember he laughed at Rubio being a high draft pick and thought he was better than him. Look how their careers turned out. Rubio is still in the league.

Andre Miller 51...he was 33 and obviously was never a scorer - he could keep defenses honest, but he was no Kobe.

33 year old Andre Miller surprised me when he murdered the Mavs. Never thought of him as a scorer.

of course this was against Dallas. For some reason he always lit up the Mavs.

On a side note, one of my absolute favorite players of all-time. He had the all-time great old man at the Y game.

Caris Levert most recently. Rip Hamilton dropped 51 in 07 — I mean, he was a guy who’d give you a solid 18-20, but he wasn’t an explosive scorer, per se, and Detroit’s style at the time wasn’t iso heavy/one player dominant.

Corey Brewer and Willie Burton to me are the biggest WTFs. They were both certified scrubs.

Burton dropped 53 and his next best scoring output was 33.

Brewer dropped 51 and his next best scoring output was 29.

Ced Ceballos might fit in. He was a scrappy scorer, but much of his O was on gabbage. He was the garbage bucket king, had a knack for getting tips, taps, and putbacks. He got to 40 occasionally, but 50 was usually prohibitive. He hit a 3 at the end of the game to get to 50, tho the 22' arc years. Willie Burton scored 53 in the 90s, so Ced looks like Mike compared to that, but... Prior to that, Kareem was the last Laker to score 50. It was a rarity pre-Shaq/Kobe.

I'll say it every time this topic comes up. First Wolves game I went to. Best basketball game I've ever been to. Meant more than basketball to me at the time. Fantastic performance all around.

Just to add another one - it wasn't 50, but I still remember Toronto fans routinely trashing Linas Kleiza in hilarious fashion on this board, so him being a scrub was pretty much ingrained in my head. But he actually scored 41 once in 2008 for Denver. 8.7 PPG for his career, 11.1 PPG that season.
