But you post a picture from the late 80's and he couldn't even beat the weak athletes from that era. How is he supposed to handle Kawhi Leonard when he couldn't even handle Joe Dumars?

Not sure, maybe Kawhi would lock him up like he did LeBron in the Finals?

Funny thing is, Pippen was a far better athlete than Leonard and Jordan went against him everyday in practice.

Since when is allowing 28.2 ppg on .571 FG% and .519 3PT% locking someone up?

The problem remains. MJ could jump out of the gym in 1988, sure, but he couldn't figure out Joe Dumars, who was the bane of his existence.

Bruh. How could Lebron handle Dumars if he couldn't handle JJ Barea?

No. Jordan literally struggled against Dumars for years. Every year. Same problem over and over again. Jordan said Dumars was the best defender he's ever faced and the only one that checked him for an entire game.

Jordan is a generational athlete. He would be fine and athletically exemplary today. I mean his modern equivalent athletically is near Lavine. He wouldn't struggle individually with the game. Social media would be his downfall.

MJ averaged 31/7/6 against Dumars in regular season.. including 59 & 61 point performances.

30/7/6 in playoffs... but whatever helps you sleep at night man

If you're going to cite "athletes" Kawhi is not even the best example. Yes, he's a great defender, but not an out of this world athlete.

Dropped 61 on him.

59 here.

Plenty of other 30-40 point games, but I didn't want to embarrass you even further.

Career vs Dumars

Honest question because im not sure, but was realgm like this 10-20 years ago? I dont remember there being so many lunatic fans of players when i joined. It resembles the political climate in many ways.
