For me it’s Kyle Lowry but it seems most think it’s Kemba.

Can someone tell me how Kemba is the better player?

Really it's mostly going to about age at this point, I'd say Lowry is basically an upgraded version of Kemba, but Kemba is younger so he might grow into a better player, however Kemba is already in his 30s.

How is this a question. Put Kyle on the Celtics and they're probably the favorites in the East.

He's not. Kemba is the better scorer but Lowry is better at everything else.

Easily this. If you had to take a guy for 1 season, you're taking Lowry. Now because of age, you'd obviously take Kemba for the long term.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you need a high-scoring PG you take Kemba. If you already have scoring and need your PG to be more of a facilitator and defender, you take Kyle

Kyle's the better player impact wise. But he could also fall off a cliff athletically.

I would even take Lowry for the next 3-4 years. I can see him flourish in a Stockton-type role. Kemba is more like Iverson and I'm very low on that type of player.

Kyle Lowry for his well roundedness. Kemba is a much more potent scorer though

I'm not sure anyone who doesn't have these players on their team even cares about a comparison of two 30 something year old PGs.

They are what they are. Both could fall off any season at their age.

Lowry was definitely better overall this season

Lowry's much more well-rounded than Kemba, and he's proven himself in last year's playoff run (even though his past playoffs were subpar).

Kemba's a better scorer, and that's about it.

Yeah. An adjustment for Kemba a bit to play with other actual good players since its been a minute for him. Plus the injury.

Plus Lowry is just better than his attributes say he should be. He just really knows how to win basketball games. I'd not be surprised at all if 5 years from now he's an 15-20 mpg backup still helping a really good team in the playoffs.

Offense is more important than defense, but I'm not sure that Kemba is so good offensively that you would pick him over a more two-way player.

Some Pacers fans were super gung ho about picking him up awhile back, and that's one aspect that worried me about the idea.
