No he didn't. He did go to the funeral. And when people asked him if he went to Magic City, he didn't deny it on Twitter at all. He didn't deny it when the NBA asked either and he's in quarantine for 10 days instead of 4.

The chicken wings are named after him there. It's really not that far-fetched. But obviously he didn't just pick up the wings to go. He never denied the fact that he was there. He may be an idiot for being there but he never lied about it. There's no use lying because everybody has a cell phone these days.
