Nets & Knicks too imo, even though both have been trash for awhile.
As a Spurs fan, we "hate" the Lakers, but it's more of a rivalry, and I think there is a lot of mutual respect there. I think that's how most rivalries are.
But sharing a market and not being able to get away from the other fans really breeds contempt and hatred I think :lol:

Well,

Suns/Blazers/Pelicans/Kings/Spurs fans were about to start a deep hatred towards Utah today when they were getting killed by Memphis in the 1st quarter.

Lakers-Clippers. Raptors-Celtics.

Bucks' fans have gotten a bit feisty the last season or so as well. I think they dislike the Raptors' fans and vice versa.

Lots of teams hate the Lakers. But only one team earned Lakers fans true proper hate, and that's the Celtics

Lakers don't really think about the Kings, Blazers, Spurs or the Suns all that much or at all.

The Clippers are the shiny new fad team to hate on at the moment.

Celtics and Laker fans hate each other but most normal ones respect one another. At least neither team is owned by Dolan.

You're spending too much time on this board. There are 1 or 2 Heat fanatics and a bunch of Raptor fans on here who hate the 76ers. But nobody in Philadelphia cares about the Raptors or the Heat. Nobody in Philadelphia cares that Toronto won the Championship last year. They would have died if the Celtics had won. 76ers fans hate the Celtics and their fans.

No it's not that easy. We have a complicated network of sometimes overlapping frictions regarding probably every player and every franchise decision. Then at the beginn of every season there's a very short period of fan unification because of absoluty unrealistic expections and hope, which only leads to our annual major disappointment that results to the aforementioned frictions to show up again. Rinse and repeat.

There are bigger rivalries, but Kings/Lakers. All I know is, from afar, is the Kings fans that live in Sac, seem like they would rather drink battery acid than speak of Lakers. And when you get outside of that 10% of Laker fans (like every sports team), it starts to get pretty murky) are just bandwagon fans that know little about the sport.
For the record I generally like Laker fans (I know I shouldn't say that, but the ones that know ball are cool as hell! (the 10%, same as every other team) the others are just whatever, they don't know anything about basketball, which you get that in every fan base)

Pretty sure the answer is different depending if you mean very online fans (not just realgm) vs more traditional fans.

Professional rivalries are much different than collegiate ones. I don’t think the professional players care as much about traditional rivals such as Lakers/Celtics simply because it’s a historical matchup. At least not on the level with the players of something like Duke/UNC or Auburn/Alabama. The only time rivalries get intense is when it gets personal like TJ Warren and Jimmy Butler and Westbrook and Lillard, or of the same stars have several good playoff series against each other. However with players changing teams so much it kind of kills the development of good rivalries year after year.
