He was a better player than Carmelo, CP3, Iverson, Miller

That's really debatable for sure!

Carmelo is on here from pure talent alone
CP3 might be the best modern PG
Iverson is the 5'11 goat
Miller is a ray allen/curry mix

And Stockton is debatable the best PG ever (it's him or Magic probably in most people's minds).

Stockton was great can't deny that at all but Magic and CP3 are clearly better players overall

How I wish they had won that 2001 title so people would never forget this guy.
The narrative on him needs to be revisited, people forget how good this guy was and he wasn't even 6 feet.

Iceman!

put Artis Gilmore on that list too.

Great call.

I also wish Ewing had finished the deal and maybe won a couple so that he would loom large over NYC and be like Reggie Jackson or Jeter is out there. He should own that city.

Seems sad to me that there isn't some massive mural to Patrick at MSG celebrating his greatness. It would have been cool too if it was the 95 squad so Charles Oakley would have a ring too.

Gilmore has one ring - 1975 ABA champion ;)

Malone or Barkley but Nash is a personal pick. He changed the game.

I feel that Bernard King deserves a mention. He was beasting in his prime a shame that he suffered two brutal injuries.
If you're asking me who the Mavs best player is, I'd say Luka. A guy like Delon Wright probably rivals his impact though at this stage in his career. KP may as well if he gets his **** together.

Karl Malone and John Stockton basically come as a pair so that's what I would say. Then Elgin Baylor, Chuck, and Nash (Chris Paul would pass him but he technically still has a chance)

Barkley for me just ahead of Malone/Stockton. He was a top five player for a decade at least.

Dominique deserves a mention, he was averaging 29.9 ppg at 33. Incredible career.

Barkley and Malone would both most likely have 2 rings a piece without MJ in the way so they are tied IMO

Barkley could've been a bulls player if Jordan went #2 to the blazers

And to answer your question - Karl Malone.

Exactly. Some of these guys being listed over Baylor and Stockton is kind of crazy.

Like, Melo over Baylor, are you kidding me?

I didn't vote. To me, it's Baylor - I've got him just barely ahead of the trio of Malone, Barkley and Stockton. Ewing not far behind.

But yeah, Baylor continues to be very underrated on this board with all of the younger fans..

When would Barkley have won a ring besides 93?

Baylor & Malone.

Pretty soon we're going to have to add Giannis & Lillard to this list.
