I cannot imagine how much Chris Paul want to beat Harden to knock them out in the first round for disrespecting him so hard.

Isnt Josh smith still cashing checks?

Probably, I don't know. We lost touch when Houston cut him.

Edit: Yeah, 5.3 this season.

Nice. My lasting memory of him was splashing step back 3s in that huge comeback win against the clippers lol

Yeah, he burned a lot of NBA bridges, but his time in Houston, especially in 2015, was great. I have only fond feelings about the only time I ever cared about or watched Josh Smith play NBA basketball. (I watched a lot of Rockets games during that time.) In 2015, he shot .330 from three in the RS, .001 below his career high, and shot .380 from three in the PS on 71 attempts. My favorite thing about him was that he moved the ball quickly whenever he touched it and was a very intuitive and talented passing big. He also provided some much-needed athleticism to that roster and was always capable of a highlight block or dunk.

Keldon's looking legit. Guess Buford wasn't lying when he claimed the Spurs considered him one of the top SF prospects in the draft.

That's right. After Dallas beats both Portland and Phoenix, the Jazz will decide how hard they want to play against the Spurs in their last game of the season.

I'm not sure about those Dallas wins. If I were Carlisle, I'd rest Luka and Porzingis and keep playing bench warmers in those two games.

Right. Portland and Phoenix are playing for their basketball lives. Dallas could only compete for the 6th seed, and Dallas proved yesterday they don't care much about it when they rested Doncic and KP rather than play them against the Jazz.

Rockets with no Harden = :(

It's a good thing this is only the fourth game he's missed, because Houston is 1-3 without him .

Wins are always nice, regardless of the seeding situation. The players were trying to win. The important thing at this point is that no one got hurt.

That is a real possibility, however most people love the under dog and a lot of people don't really like Harden.

It will be very entertaining.

This game is sort of eye-opening for Houston. Like obviously they don't have their MVP candidate. But you have to wonder how much of their play has come from basically surprising their opponents. In a seven-game series against a good coach, I think the D could fall apart, and the offense has the same weaknesses it's always had with MDA

The offense is different than any offense in NBA history (five out for 48 minutes), so, by default, it doesn't have the same weaknesses: it's not the same offense. Also, see my post on page 1 about how much the defense missed Harden today. (House helps, too.) Anyways, time will tell.

Hoping you guys win the next 2 (really possible since PHI will likely sit guys) and Denver loses both

It can be a different offense with the same weaknesses. And you can't discount Harden for sure, but the Spurs aren't exactly the most talented team in the West either. . But yes, time will tell.

I'm confused a loss without 3 guys in your 8 man rotation is eye opening.

I'd like that too. Lakers in 2nd round over Clippers any day of the week. Obviously everyone else thinks the same.

Denver not gonna lose both when Clippers and Raps will probably be sitting a host of players.
