With Giannis being suspended for the final game, his present PER of 31.91 seems likely to hold up (PER is based on what happens all around the league, so it could change a bit from this number) as the new NBA single-season record. Wilt currently holds the record with a 31.82 PER season in 1962-63:

Should Giannis set this record, and also claim the MVP and DPOY trophies, we could be witnessing one of the most dominant regular seasons in NBA history.
Final PER data should come in on Saturday after the Friday games. I'm not sure what the "official" PER statistic is that's used. Hollinger's site on ESPN has different (higher) figures for PER than the numbers on BBREF, so I'm not sure which is the exact number.
Looks like Giannis will set new PER record for a season
