HOUSTON – Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that guard Russell Westbrook underwent an MRI in Orlando for a quadriceps injury. The results revealed a strained quadriceps muscle in his right leg. Westbrook will be out for Friday’s game against Philadelphia and his status will be re-evaluated before the playoffs start next week.

i don't think it's as bad as implied. i think hou told him they're not playing him but will when the games start to count
