Is inviting friends and family a good idea for the bubble?

Yes, it's a good, sound idea.

Please click this link to provide USA Today some traffic for supplying this information. Then come back and discuss.

Spoiler:
Only family members and longstanding personal friends are allowed on the NBA campus and not “any individual the player has not previously met in person or with whom the player has limited in-person interactions.”

Each player can have up to four guests per room, and players will be allowed to invite one guest and a young child (32 inches or shorter) to watch games in person.

Guests will also be required to quarantine either at home for at least three days and then four days on campus if they arrive via private plane, such as charter, through the team’s home market on Aug. 29 or Aug. 31. If they use personal means to travel, guests will have to arrive on Aug. 24 and quarantine for seven days.

During quarantine, guests are subject to daily COVID-19 testing and must be free of symptoms and have no positive tests before they are released from quarantine. All guests are required to stay on campus, and if they leave, they will not be permitted to return.

Guests must also adhere to health and safety protocols, such as social distancing and mask-wearing.

Guest lists, which must be submitted by Monday, are final and no substitutions can be made as a team advances.

The underlined line is why you're all here. Me too. Hope it works out. Seems risky.

Tyler Herro is lucky af.

Anyway, Ot thread so have fun but keep it clean please.

Oh damn, Herro stays winning. She looks like Naya Rivera (RIP) with more curves. I think this is gonna be bad IMO. All it takes is one outbreak, and we are toast.

Eh, seems like an easy thing to get around for the players who aren't bringing actual SO's. Is the NBA going to really be that stringent with having players prove they've known a woman for a long period of time?

I think it's fair... quarantine period is decently long and with daily COVID testing everyone should be relatively safe and worry-free. Ofc ideally you wouldn't inc the risk, but I understand from a player perspective.

They have a process that has been 100% effective so probably not the biggest deal.

Remember when many were insisting on not having the bubble in Florida?
