Lebron gotta be considered the GOAT now when the Lakers win the title

• Lebron has been dominating the league for 13 seasons, every season (with the exception of the previous one) since 2006.
• Jordan "only" did it for 10 seasons (1986 - 1992 and 1995-1997).

It's pretty fair to say both of them had a similar level impact when they were in their prime, if there is a difference then it's slightly in favour for Jordan, but it's really pretty negligible. None of these players will lead you to a title by themselves versus regular competition, they all need the appropriate support and roster constructed around them.

So basically it comes down to 13 GOAT years vs 10 GOAT years, it's understandable to choose Jordan over Lebron since he did lead his team to 6 titles over Lebron's 3, but when Lebron wins 4 the case is pretty much clear-cut.

*I'm bad arithmetic, corrected some numbers.

LeBron stans are insufferable. This is why people root against him.

Dw about goat how bout we just appreciate how hard it is to go deep into the post season consecutively and play at a high level.

Kawhi clearly wore down today and as the playoffs went, the warriors broke down this year. Its really really hard. Lebron did it 8 years straight and maybe gonna do it again this year after a one year break.

These long years and sustained greatness is really almost unheard of. Doesn’t get enough credit for the toll and load he’s taken on the last 10 years.

No. Bron kept teaming up with players who were the alpha of their teams before playing with him. That alone is a red flag.

MJ never did that and dominated.

But longevity wise, gotta give it to Bron for his consistency.

What is the record of Jordan without the great Scottie Pippen?

0 rings that's fact.

But that doesn't change the fact Bron continue to seek out alphas to pursue his runs. That's facts too, no?

He makes some strong compelling points. Turning around 3 different franchises over the course of a decade while toppling one of the greatest teams ever assembled? Jordan's 6/6 record is flawless but Lebron is catching him with overall resume. Its now becoming debatable.

Pippen joined the bulls in 87/88 season which was Jordans 4th in the league and they ended with 50-32
So 3 seasons under .500, 1 of those he played 18 games

Well by now people have already made up there mind about Lebron Whether he wins one or not is irrelevant.

Some people have him as the best player all time already

Some people have him in the top 5

Some people have him in the top 10

I don't think his rating will increase in people's head that much going from 3 rings to 4 rings

No, and he never will be. We've known this since 2010, and that was underlined again in 2011.

People acting like LeBRon is a God who turned 3 franchises around are also forgetting that he burned and gutted those franchises when he left.

MJ had Scotty Thought!!!

True, but MJ didn't peace out to go play with Scotty in his prime every 4 years like LeBron does. No honor, no pride in anything but himself.

LeBron is the best player of his generation, but he will never be the goat because he started ring chasing in his mid-20's. He will never be the goat because when things got even a modicum more difficult, he always took the cowards way out.

To me. LeBron is just this generations Shaq except with more longevity

Interesting. I've been saying for a while that he's this generations Wilt Chamberlain with more ring chasing early in his career.

And no, the bubble won't change his all time ranking at all.
