LeBron definitely didn't choke in '07, he was absolutely abysmal, but I definitely wouldn't consider that a choke

His game got exposed because he couldn’t shoot so the spurs just backed off of him.

I agree with that, but he was a 22 year old on literally one of the worst Finals teams ever going up against Spurs with multiple HOF's, so I will agree he played terribly, how the hell is it a choke when he loses at such a significant disadvantage?

It's just virtually impossible to never have a bad Playoff game or bad elimination game, if you play enough seasons as a top player.

Clippers really weren't overwhelming favorites over the Nuggets in reality. And Kawhi is not really a dominant player that can singlehandedly win you games. Notice he very rarely ever scores 40+.

Now if your team is absolutely stacked and you lose to a far inferior opponent and put up super low stats, yeah we can call that a choke.

Pundit Kellerman was making this an excuse for KL and brought up Kobe when he blew a 3-1 lead to the Suns and game 7 against the Celtics in 2010 as examples of Kobe chocking.

What he failed to mention was that the year the Lakers lost that series to the Suns the Lakers were not even supposed to make the playoffs and were the 8 seed and the Suns were the 1 seed that year.
On the game 7 struggles that was only in offensive side because the entire Celtics defense was heard to stop Kobe, but he didn’t give up and came up big on defense and pulled down 15 rebounds.

Why do you say Curry choked in 2015? Are you talking about the Finals MVP

Not sure if I would consider it a choke job but there is no way the Cavs should’ve pushed the Warriors to 6 games that year with two star players being injured.

Lebron gets a pass for 2010 but he definitely choked in 09 and 11.

Lebron averaged 35/9/7 in the 2009 playoffs on 62% TS. A 37 PER and .399 ws/48. Against Orlando he averaged 39/8/8. Claiming he choked that year is one of the worst takes I’ve seen on here.

Kawhi averaged 28/9/6/2/1. Giannis averaged 29/14/6/1/1. Not really choker stats either.

It depends on the standard you want to judge them. If judged on the Jordan scale, yeah they are all frauds to some degree. But the only player that deserves to be judged on such a standard is Lebron as all other players are not even worth looking at in that way.

As regular NBA superstars go, these guys are not bad.

Yeah it's not fair to put that label on young Lebron. What he did at that age 22 put him ahead of Jordan at the same stage of their career. This is coming from someone who thinks Jordan is clearly still the GOAT as of now.

2011 is fair game, but Lebron deserves praise for just making the finals in 2007.

Lebron 07 is not choke but one of the greatest accomplisments. He played final at 22 with being the first man with a garbage squad. It is a bigger achievement than kawhi and durant's 2 rings.
