Obviously Siakam and Westbrook stand out like sore thumbs here.

Doesn’t change the fact AD is better than Jokic.

What? Jokic is easily the better player.

I'll have you know, good sir, that there is no point in this season that I would have dared to say that Siakam was having a better season than Tatum. Statistically, they essentially put up the same numbers, with Tatum getting a slight nod in scoring efficiency. Then when you watch the games, it's clear that Tatum is a far greater focal point of the offense, and receives much more defensive attention than Siakam. Even if we ignore how bad Siakam was in the playoffs, it's incredibly fair to argue Tatum deserves to be above him in the all-nba teams.

Again having a hard time seeing any argument of Siakam over Tatum. Raw stats were similar, but Tatum's overall impact was much better. I have a feeling a good chunk of the media just got caught up in Siakam's hot start and that was enough.

Yeah I think even most Raptors fans here would say that he shouldn't be on the 2nd team.

Why are you trying to trigger half the forum? Doncic absolutely deservers first team, only Kawhi could really challenge him. And Siakam 2nd team is a travesty. And i'm not just saying because of his bad playoffs, but he was just far less efficient and effective than last year, just jacked up more shots. He is not a top 10 NBA player.

Doncic has great stats, but I just didn't think he was a top 5 nba player this year. I think CP3 was better. I would have out Doncic second team. I think people get enamored too much by the triple-doubles.

Tatum/Butler should've swapped with Siakam. Westbrook and Simmons don't belong. Otherwise it's fine.

It’s a shame, Hakeem, Patrick Ewing, Shaq, even Alonzo mourning, David Robinson all competing for first team all NBA centers in the 1990s. Imagine if they made all NBA teams “front court” in the 1990s. They all could have been first team all NBA front court. AD is a joke at all NBA center position.

Lowkey think Simmons had an over rated year, and is not deserving of 3rd team All-NBA. That spot should have went to Bam who did exactly what Simmons did except better this year, or maybe even Towns who by all accounts had an insane year statistically.

Ok he deserves it my bad, even though I would have favored Leonard over him, even with load management , but two Laker players don't :banghead:

Embarrassing that Kyle Lowry didn’t make all NBA. Even more embarrassing that Bradley Beal received more votes then him.

It must be a nice life to have when you’ve made it to the top of your field and have no idea what the hell you are doing. I’m looking at you “media”. Max effing lolz

Sixers even more screwed. Since Simmons is 3rd team all NBA the 5% salary kicker for the extension.

They voted for this before the bubble, IIRC.

That explains why Siakam made second team, though I think Tatum was better during the pre bubble season as well.
