So, how do you like Draymond Green on TV so far?

Post#1 » by Else_where » Sat Sep 19, 2020 9:37 am

I'd say he has been surprisingly good on TNT, he jokes when it's time to joke, not afraid to give honest controversial opinion when needed. I can see him as Kenny's replacement in the future (There were some talks in the past about him leaving, otherwise I like Kenny).

He's the best guest they've had in years. You can definitely see he has the potential to become a TV head if he so desires to after his playing career. He is eloquent and makes valid points and I'm hoping he stays for the entire duration of these playoffs.

he was always clever and well spoken, so i am not surprised he's good.

his problem was controlling his emotions at times.

I'd get someone like Dirk in there too. European (will reflect the trend nowadays and connect to the European audience), Great Dad Humour, the bridge between Charles and Draymond's generation.

Can’t stand his antics on the court but the guy is great as an analyst. I think he has a career in it if he wants to after basketball.

Would love to see him join the inside crew after he's done playing. They've got great chemistry.

His insight is refreshing, Still a bit full of himself, but i'ld take that if it comes with great insight over dull hot takes and being full of himself, which most of the analysts are

He’s very good. You could always tell he had a great basketball mind. Hopefully he takes Kenny’s seat when he retires

He’s pretty good. Makes you wonder about TNT/NBATV’s process of bringing ex-players on compared to ESPN. ESPN brings in guys like Perkins, Pierce, Hollins, Pippen, who are just terrible tv talkers. Now VC looks like a keeper but mostly their ex-player pool is pretty bad

Billups was pretty good as well. But you're right with most of these guys you just get a bunch of ignorant hot takes.
