...and this is why Steve will be perfect. Steve does not have a big ego. Steve watched the other Steve manage a team with big stars, and will make KD/Kyrie think they're fully running the show. Nash will deflect praise to them at any chance but accidentally have it come back to him eventually.

What the ceiling is of a KD/Kyrie team, no clue... it doesn't look great IMO. Weird pairing, but Steve is the guy to manage it.

Steve Nash seems like a good person. I feel badly for him in this situation.

Steve quietly wondering at home if it's too late to back out.

I wonder if even Phil Jackson could sort this out. He had to deal with some enormous egos, but at least two of those were possessed with winning.

You pretty much need a psychology degree to be a coach in 2020.

I wonder if when we look back on Lebron's career if the most impressive part of it will be that being his teammate was the only time Kryie Irving really played up to his ability and seemed like a somewhat sane human being.

Kyrie could have said "Steve is going fit right in and be a strong leader for us. He's highly respected by me and K and he's going to help and collaborate with us that we can be the best we can be for the Nets organization"

Kyrie's ego is on full affect. only had to win 1 chip for it to escape.

The other Steve had coachable players who were growing into stars, this Steve has primadonnas who hasnt really won anything by themselves but are GOATs in there own mind. Kyrie definitely, not so much KD, but he is guilty by association nonetheless

Kyire and KD are perfect for each other. They both could benefit from just quieting down a bit and playing ball. But neither of them can do it.
I like Nash and don't mind Kyrie or KD so I'm not necessarily rooting for them to fail. But boy would that be some Grade A comedy.

"I serve my community first"

What does that even mean in the context of talking about a coach?

Nets better hope KD has a Dominique Wilkins type recovery or things could get ugly fast
