At least they made Game 4 a must watch. Good for the Heat.

Now if the Heat can get their guys back then Game 4 will be a fun one. If not, id expect Lakers to run all over the Heat.

Re: Championship Thread: HEAT vs. Lakers (Part Three) LAL 2-1
Lakers will adjust and I predict they'll wrap it up in 5. But it's not guaranteed. They were clearly lackadaisical in game 3, putting the cart before the horse with those Shaq/Kobe comparisons and everyone saying it would be a sweep. Lesson learned.
Better come out with intensity in game 4. It's not over until it's over.

It's time for Kuz to start.

I'm so happy the Heat won a game. I never thought they had a chance to win one vs Lakers to be honest. I'm just thrilled they made the Finals because it will also help in Free agency. But they are not winning the Finals lol. Lakers are just too good, big and talented.

Well neither team has won a "road" game yet so this series hasn't officially started yet.

Aside from the Heat fans (and bettors for Miami), Vegas is happiest since the crowd is now confused who to pick in Game 5, where the Heat are still 'dogs by 7.5 points even after this supposedly big win.
Vegas is weird but doing it correctly right? i mean everyone jumps on Miami now for Game 4 so wise pick is to get Lakers spread?!

That's an overeaction.
Danny Green is a role player so he does not need to show up all games in this series. (And even if he sucked and if AD/LBJ were more aggressive tonight, his bad shooting wouldn't matter.
i love the Heat to steal Game 4 just to make this interesting but i see another blowout win for the Lakers...

Re: Championship Thread: HEAT vs. Lakers (Part Three) LAL 2-1
Lakers bench had more than double the points of the Heat bench.
Heat starting backcourt was 10-30 (seriously Robinson looks terrible out there compared to earlier rounds)
Lakers shot more free throws
Even with all the extra turnovers the Heat were only able to turn that into 1 extra shot attempted (80 vs 79) thanks to the 11 vs 3 differential in offensive rebounds
Miami has a lot to feel good about walking away with a deserved win in Game 3 despite being so short handed

Did Tyler Herro just do what Damian Lillard, Russell Westbrook, & Jamaal Murray did in the games they won against the Lakers? Oh boy.

He is missing everything though the past 2 games, if he's missing shots then defenders don't have to worry about keying in on him. He's not near a 15 mill player if he is missing everything.durden_tyler wrote:infinite11285 wrote:KyRo23 wrote:May the corpse of Danny Green not arise for game 4. What I liked from Butler is the body language towards teammates when they mess up vs what I saw from Lebron and AD
There was a lot of finger pointing from Lebron and AD at teammates that messed up vs what seemed like more positive reinforcement from Jimmy
Of course I can only assume what was being said as it’s just a read of body language but that was my impression

I mean, don't start the game with a bajillion turnovers and you might have a better chance of winning instead of playing from behind most of the night.

I believe Miami has a better shot at taking Game 4 than what many are giving them credit for. Especially if Vogel doesn't learn to double Jimmy Butler, or if AD doesn't learn how to establish post-position, and re-establish post-position, after passing out of quick doubles.

Re: Championship Thread: HEAT vs. Lakers (Part Three) LAL 2-1
Heat had no business even competing this game without Bam or Dragic. Super impressive win, although, I don’t think this Lakers team is going to be considered one of the better championship teams.
