What I wanted to emphasize is that it's great to win a title after goint through dark times, and I know other teams have gone and are going through longer tough periods. But stop the big market bs. Look at the Knicks, and look at us in the summer of 2016. It took some good management and going at 12 am to LeBron's house to get to this again. It took finding players like Caruso and Kuzma that are good role players. It took great late drafting. It took giving Dwight a second chance when nobody even wanted to give him a try. It took trading your young core and risk the future for another 10 years by trading for AD on an expiring hoping things would work out this time around after 2013. That's how you build something to win. And it took Jeanie Buss to clear out the mess her brother piled to create this small dynasty.

Lebron was going to LA stop that showing up at 12 am mess like other teams don’t do that. Davis was clearly tampered with by lebrons agent how could a team trade away there future knowing he’s leaving anyways. Plenty teams beat out the offer for Davis but simply couldn’t cause the knew what was going on. Only reason you guys didn’t get kawhi was Toronto saying **** it

Many teams in the NBA signed big players at 12:01 am, so what... The next year, however the trades didn't have to wait for the moratorium,,. Nothing wrong done there... As far as who spoke to Anthony Davis, LeBron most likely orcestrated that, which other teams have done too, so again nothing done wrong.

Draft Luka NO drafted davis and he was tampered with and ended up where oh LA. Draft Luka, SA drafted Kawhi had a perfect front office he demands out wins a ring in Toronto. Stays in Toronto cause they won a ring and can possibly win 2-3 more right. Draft Luka, Orlando drafted Dwight got to the finals and Dwight finished his career there without demanding out right

Funny how the Lakers got b so many 2nd overall picks when Sacramento has sniffed top 3 like twice in 10+ years

It was a weird season, but I wouldn't give it an asterisk. Yeah, there were guys that didn't want to be cooped up in Orlando the whole time, but the Lakers fought through it. So give credit.

This ring was for the whole Lakers family and for the memory of Kobe!
LeBron, AD, Vogel, Pelinka, Jeanie Buss, all our players and other LAL staff, and obviously the fans including myself - we not only DID it, but we plan to repeat it next year as well! :-)
