LeBron has played 8 Superteams in the finals

One underrated aspect of LeBron's career is just how many loaded teams he has faced in the finals. In his 10 finals appearances, he played a superteam in 8 of them. No superstar in history has faced that stiff competition in the finals. He was consistently facing teams with 3 or 4 all-stars/HOF on a routine basis. The fact that he has 4 finals against that competition is a testament to his greatness.

2007 Spurs:
Duncan (HOF)
Manu (HOF)
Parker (HOF)

2012 Thunder:
KD (MVP)
Harden (MVP)
Westbrook (MVP)

2013 Spurs:
Duncan (HOF)
Manu (HOF)
Parker (HOF)
Kawhi (Finals MVP)

2014 Spurs:
Duncan (HOF)
Manu (HOF)
Parker (HOF)
Kawhi (Finals MVP)

2015 and 2016 Warriors:
Curry (MVP)
Klay (All-star)
Green (All-Star)
Iggy (All-Star)

2017 + 2018 Warriors:
Curry (MVP)
KD (MVP)
Klay (All-star)
Green (All-Star)
Iggy (All-Star)

Ok but okc were young non of them had won a mvp at that time. Great but inexperienced.
Parker and ginobli while great hof players not superstars, plus duncan 36-37 manu 35-36 at the time. Baby kawhi.

Iguodala 1 all star in 12.
Klay modern day reggie miller with better defence.
Green great defender so so shooter and scorer.

Kd warriors insane team.

But yes lebron is great. No one denies it.

I didn't know Durant, Westbrook and Harden won a MVP each while on the same team.

Lebron has only played 1 super-team in the finals. That's the Warriors.

None of the other teams have 2 superstars at the same time with all-stars as supporting players.

Lol I’m a spur fan and i wouldn’t consider any of our championship teams a super team ...

So what about Lebron ?Outside of this year he’s always played with two other All stars and a team filled with shooters...

And this year he played with a guy who had a 29.6 Per during the playoffs..

Not gonna lie - I just want to hear Laker fans admit that Lebron is better than Kobe. That's the only reason why I've been entering Lebron threads.

8 teams he faced in finals will have had 3 Hall of Famers or more that were still playing at peak or near peak level.

Only superteam was the KD Warriors...You are sadly mistaken with this thread...

Thunder had NO Bench their best bench players were Thabo Sefalosha and 37 year old Derrick Fisher...Their top stars were still rookies , Westbrook has never been a playoff winner, KD , Harden , Westbrook, Ibaka were all Under 23 years old...LBJ was the one on the superteam with Bosh Wade and himself...

Spurs teams were AGING superstars they were NOT in their Primes and not even close...TD was a years older then LBJ is now when they played in 2013, 2014 At age 36-37, Manu was 35-36 years old, Tony Parker was coming off leg injuries and was 30-31 years old, Kawhi was a rookie....Superteam? LOL get real Also again LBJ was the superteam with Wade, Bosh and Himself...

2007 Spurs Maybe cause they were still in their primes them years but i still would not call that a superteam considering Parker, Manu were never considered top 5 or 7 players in the NBA ever....

2015 Warriors were a superteam during the regular season, But when Curry goes down with that MCL sprain during the playoffs that changed their Projection as a team.....Iggy also had a back injury and Bogut went down, Greens suspension All this changed that superteam ALOT...

Only superteam LeBron faced were KD Warriors and besides that LBJ Had the superteams Now with AD and himself is being pretty close to being a superteam....

Stop changing the narrative and act like LBJ wasn't the one who started the Superteams in the NBA ....

LBJ was always the one with the Superteam if anything
