Tanking hurts the league more than stars teaming up. Maybe he should focus on helping his team make the playoffs.

Super teams have always been good for ratings, and they've existed even before Jordan's time (Magic and Kareem?) Jordan might just be mad because stars joining up means Charlotte will never sign a star

Not every superstar is blessed with having a top 50 player all time as their sidekick for the bulk of their prime along with arguably the GOAT coach. I agree with his general thoughts that this stuff pushed to its extreme would hurt the product (particularly small markets), but sometimes it also sucks seeing great players wasting away on teams that just don’t have a chance. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

People wouldn't be teaming up as much if the media didn't put player X-Y-Z legacy on the line after a couple of years.

Pundit: AD's legacy is on the line what has he done in NO Skiup? NOTHING all he does is statpad on a first round exit team.

etc etc etc etc. Some players are fortunate to play in a good market and a good FO. Example. Had Lebron played 20 years in Cleveland and won 1 chip if even that we'd not have talked about him being a top 5 player. Matter of fact we'd have talked about how he underperformed throughout his career putting up big stats and only having 1 chip. Im sure that would be the same case for a guy like KD-AD and a lot of others. Im sure of it.

Why do you guys listen to MJ? The man said players should make whatever amount as a player and owners should sell their team if they couldn't afford it and then said the exact opposite as an owner. He says players teaming up.is bad for the league but had a four all-star team with Scottie being paid peanuts to make it work. He will only say what's in his best interests.

Has anyone pushed this to an extreme in your opinion? I think we all know the answer to this.

This must be why the Hornets have struggled to be a good team, not because of his ownership decisions.

Not all players have the luxury of having a great front office from day one you were Drafted....

Yeah not everyone is given a good front office and coaching to enable them a successful environment. Some guys have to turn to players or teams that have proven they can win even without you to make sure they get championships.

I think shorter contracts hurt the league.
