Both team swept their way to a Finals before. My opinion, the Warriors have nobody to stop Shaq. Teams back then didn’t have anyone that could stop Shaq either. Kobe is a whole another problem. That Lakers team won 3 championships IN A ROW.

Warriors would destroy them. I think both teams would feast offensively but warriors just have too many weapons and too much depth.

Dubs in 5. Too much fire power for the Lakers to cover on defense. They aren’t stopping KD or Curry one on one and can’t leave Klay open either. Iggy and KD going to play tough man defense on Kobe who will be less efficient than the top 3 for the Dubs. Shaq will still get his though.

Youtube what Shaq did to Chris Dudley. That's basically what he would do to the entire league today.

Playing under today's rules, Kobe would be used as a high usage pseudo PG running pick and rolls with Shaq and the Warriors would have no answer.

I think it's popular to say the lakers, but I think this is the Warriors. They're just stacked all the way. They'll just let Shaq and Kobe get theirs and outscore them with Steph, Durant and Klay, all of whom can score at the same volume and around the same (if not better) efficiency.

You don't guard Shaq. You let him do what he does and beat everyone else.

The Warriors because while the Lakers may arguably have the best player (Shaq), the Warriors have the 5 of the next 6 best players. Curry and KD are arguably as good or better than Shaq and young Kobe, and Klay, Green, and Iggy are better than anyone else on the Lakers.

No team can beat the Steph KD warriors. Not even sure the Jordan Bulls could beat them. They were cruising in the playoffs and if they felt like it they could have blown their opponents away. With three possible 40 percent three point shooters and a hack a Shaq, the math would really go wrong for the Lakers very quickly.

No team in basketball history can handle the Curry/Durant Warriors, especially not the Shaq Kobe Lakers. Imagine a Sacramento team picking and popping that team to death with Mike Bobby and Cwebb, except now your dealing with an even more sophisticated offensive system and shotmaking at the level of Durant, Curry and Thompson.

Shaq as a roll man? Something he’s never asked to do and that’s what you deploy vs Golden State?

Lakers would have to chop the game up to make it a low possession game to have a chance. Else theyd get run out of the gym.

Warriors. The Lakers would be limited due to hack a shaq. But one thing to consider is that the dubs need to put center bodies on the court to limit their main guys getting in foul trouble, which would also make them less lethal offensively.

Warriors easily, Shaq will do his thing on offense, but will be exploited on defense. Lakers could barely hang with Mike Bibby, imagine them guarding Curry.
